From what I've heard from him, Michael Weiner is generally an LEO fellator and a major fan of the police state. A few months back he read some story about cops somewhere getting extra training to help prevent dog shootings, and he seemed puzzled that it was even an issue. And he's also often complained about cops being "outgunned" by criminals with "assault weapons" (a non-issue in reality). He only cares about the DC shooting because an anti-Obama spin can be put on the story.
