We've all heard of the "walk events" where you sponsor a runner/walker on a per/mile basis. For example, I might sponsor the kid next door by giving him $5 for every mile he walks. The money then goes to a charity and life is dandy.
How about we "sponsor" Rudy Giuliani the same way. People could pledge a dollar amount for every time Rudy says 911, terrorism, islamofascist, etc. At the end of the selected event (a debate, for example), the total words counts could be calculated and software could e-mail people with their calculated pledge.
"Let's see, at $1 per '911' and $2 per 'terrorism', you owe $31"
We could even introduce some humor by doing a negative pledge for every minute that Dr. Paul gets to speak in the debate. For example, for every minute that Dr. Paul gets to speak, I DE-pledge $0.50.
This could be a tongue-in-cheek, fun way for people to "root" for Ron Paul to get more time and to "root against" Giuliani 911/Terror talk.
What do you think of this idea?
