Democrats are going to look bad by voting down a lot of these bills.

Good. They are finding out that there is more than one way for their cat to get skinned. No offense to any cats meant.

I have always felt defeated by the way Republicans play politics.

They never lose an opportunity to lose an opportunity.

They are playing this hand well. Of course, I'm not optimistic that Boehner won't eventually cave, but for now... it's nice to see some backbone!

It sounds like an unforeseen benefit.

It might take forever, but it's a good time to sit down and figure out what really needs to be funded, rather than balling it all up into one bill and just saying, "okay, spend money."

I'm sure, after it's all done, they'd vote for a lot of stuff that we won't approve of, but, it's nice to see them not just giving a blanket-pass to everything at once.

I bet lobbyists are going nuts. They'll actually have to work instead of bribing a staffer to slip a rider into a bill so large no one will read.

Ted Cruz? I thought it was Pat Buchanan's idea (http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?429233-GOP-Passing-Individual-Funding-Bills)!
