Raleigh, NC – In a demonstration of the Brannon campaign’s surging strength and support, the campaign announced today that it will report third quarter fundraising totals that more than double the previous quarter.

Since the last filing in mid-July the campaign raised over $150,000 and heads into the fourth quarter with more than $100,000 cash-on-hand.

The pro-life Obstetrician’s fundraising shows an impressive base of support with more than 3,000 individual contributors accounting for more than 4,000 contributions with an average contribution of less than $70.

This brings the total raised to over $275,000 since the start of the campaign, solidifying Greg Brannon’s position as the foremost grassroots candidate in the race.

“We've said from the start that this will be a people-driven, grassroots campaign. We are committed to building the organization needed to defeat my establishment backed opponent and go on to retire Kay Hagan next November.” said Brannon.

The Tea Party favorite’s upward-trending fundraising shows no sign of slowing as the campaign prepares to add to its momentum by executing an aggressive grassroots voter mobilization operation this fall.

“This grassroots campaign continues to gain momentum because North Carolinians are fed up with the good ole boy network of special interests in Raleigh and Washington, who think they’re entitled to hand pick the Republican nominee. Conservatives know we cannot afford any more deal making moderates who care more about getting along with Democrats than fighting the Obama agenda,” said Campaign Manager, Reilly O’Neal.

O’Neal added, “These 3,000 contributors are not just donors – they’re stakeholders. Each and every one of these supporters is invested in sending Greg Brannon to Washington to fight for our conservative values, and they’re committed to doing the hard work it takes to win this race.”

The Freedom PAC- North Carolina Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/FreedomPacNorthCarolina) page put up this article:

Fewer than 1 in 5 North Carolina residents think Sen. Kay Hagan should get a second term in the U.S. Senate.

A High Point University Poll released today found that only 19 percent of those polled said Hagan deserves to be re-elected. Fifty-six percent said it's time for someone new in Washington. Another 26 percent declined to answer.

Hagan's job approval rating has slipped over the past two weeks, from 40 percent in a poll released Sept. 16 to 32 percent in Tuesday's poll.

Granted, it's one poll out of many, but it could be an indication of things to come.

We have a good chance of replacing an Obama-yes-Senator with a liberty/Constitution Senator. This is looking good!

Brannon's biggest hurdle will be breaking through the local NC media outlets blacking him out and making the race a Hagan v. Tillis campaign even before the primaries happen.

Just keep hitting those grassroots events, momentum will build, media will follow.
