In the twenty-second week on the Republican side Ron Paul defeated Fred Thompson by less than one percent of the votes (38.4 to 37.5), even though Paul has no more than two percent in any of the national polls. Paul’s supporters seem dedicated to winning the Pajamas poll in the hope that it will influence the larger electorate. So far it does not seem to have done so. Many readers have written to ask us to ban Paul from the poll in the interest of making it more relevant, but we are sticking with our rules (see below).
Bill Richardson continues to lead the Democratic side.
On the question of which candidates get to be in the poll, Pajamas Media continues to receive requests from supporters of a long list of candidates to have their favorites included. Some of these candidates are quite well known, but others we have never even heard of. We want to be as open as possible, but we have to draw the line somewhere to keep our poll credible and to do so on an evenhanded basis. For that reason, some time ago Pajamas Media announced that our baseline for inclusion would be that the candidate must have one percent in the most recent Gallup Poll. That rule remains in force and the candidate list readjusted accordingly every Sunday night.

Haha...

They should just write. "Our web site visitors are voting incorrectly according to us."

Or,

"We think the visitors to our site are dumb."

It's amusing to watch the Pajamas propagandists spin RP's victories week after week, including the empty threats to ban RP to make the poll "more relevant."

The more they suppress, the more people are interested.

We need a friendly site to host the poll widget so we can win the poll without giving them more traffic. Anyone?

I think that like Ed Failor... swing voters can see the obvious bias towards Paul... and in some way, it gets people to look into Dr. Paul.
Everytime we meet one of these obstacles are numbers tend to swell quite rapidly.
