According to the article, despite Cruz’s rapid rise, he still has work to do to win the approval of McCain.

As one McCain aide told GQ: “He (expletive) hates Cruz.”

McCain is a senile old fool with some major anger issues. The feud between him and Cruz is personal, not political.

According to Michael Berry show this morning the whole GOP establishment plus Karl Rove hate Cruz.

I wonder if it's true.

Maybe the reason the aid said it was because that's what McCain wants people to think. It's probably what Cruz wants people to think too.

Yep, it allows Cruz to slip under the liberty radar...So they think.

And that makes Cruz just a bit more likable.

if nothing else, it breaks apart the foundation that has made America question if armed DHS Drones in CONUS and NSA warrantless wiretapping were 'fringe' issues. It makes Rand Paul a lot harder to marginalize. Rove & Co hate Rand & Co because they are quietly disarming the Rove machine.

Does seem a bit orchestrated, doesn't it? They're really desperate to set up an alternative to Rand among conservatives.

McCain is a yellow bellied coward who sold out his country in Nam.

His opinion carries no weight in my world.

Cruz was the main Senator helping Rand during the drone filibuster. McCain loves those drones. McCain loves amnesty. McCain loves Obamacare. McCain hates the Constitution. Cruz hasn't been helping McCain a whole lot. The only thing they probably agree on is bombing Iran.

I had a dream the other night that McCain stepped on my pillow. I woke up furious and disappointed I didn't get a chance to hurt him first. I hate that fucker.

In other words, they just agree on murdering defenseless people for no reason.

I'm sorry, but murder supporters are the scum of the earth. Doesn't matter what else they happen to believe.

Instead of it being all or nothing, it's more like,

Amash, Massie, Rand>Ted Cruz>Mitch McConnell>John McCain>Hillary Clinton>Joseph Stalin.

Is it by any chance lovers quarrel between R T Cruz and J Mccain over warromance with John Hagee?

In any case not to worry, left wing neoconish lib Dems like Alan Dershowitz and James Carville love R T Cruz even if he has fallin out with McCain:

Ted Cruz praised by his former Harvard Law professor Alan Dershowitz

May 10, 2013
According to a May 9, 2013 story in the Daily Caller, Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas came in for some praise from another unusual source. Alan Dershowitz, one of Cruz’s professors at Harvard Law, called the senator from Texas, “One of Harvard Law’s smartest students.”
Dershowitz dismisses suggestions that Cruz cannot run for president because he was born in Canada. Cruz’s mother was an American citizen, making him a natural born American under the dictates of the Constitution. He does suggest that 2016 may be too soon for Cruz to run for president, noting that Marco Rubio, the other Hispanic Republican senator from Florida, is also considering a run.

Dershowitz is known for his liberal leanings, albeit as an articulate advocate and an author of a number of best-selling books. Along with James Carville, Bill Clinton’s former consigliere, Dershowitz is the second prominent liberal to praise Cruz’s intellect and drive.

He himself was one of the smartest liars lawyers who got OJ Simpson acquitted and prepares college grads who to defend occupation of Palestinians by Israel:

Amash, Massie, Rand>Ted Cruz>Mitch McConnell>John McCain>Hillary Clinton>Joseph Stalin.

I don't think its quite right to put Rand with Amash and Massie. I do like Rand for the most part (Although I'm honestly still not morally a big fan of what he's doing, I honestly am starting to hate the implicit pragmatism in all of it, but I'd still vote for him and support him because he's clearly on the right track) but Amash and Massie are better and deserve being qualified as such.

Murdering ONE person is enough to deserve execution. Yes, Ted Bundy is "worse" than somebody who kills only one person, but both deserve the death penalty.

So these really are "all or nothing" moral issues. I might even be hypocritical for supporting Rand at all, but I can live with that for now.
