He says that if there is no progress seen the September report then we should pull out immediately. There was progress seen. What then? Was he by implication saying that if progress was seen we should stay?

According to the 'September report' he referred to, there was progress. I'm not asking to debate whether or not the report was accurate, but what he was actually saying about his plans for the war. Will RP's position be that the report was wrong?

I'm all for that. Its just not exactly what he said previously. I hope he's prepared for the possibility of getting called on it.

Ron Paul doesn't consider "tactical movements here and there" to be progress. Meh. Plus, who the hell believes the media? There was an independent report--I forgot what it was called--and of course it said there was no progress in Iraq (in fact just the opposite).
