FOUR HORSEMEN is an independent feature documentary which lifts the lid on how the world really works.

As we will never return to 'business as usual' 23 international thinkers, government advisors and Wall Street money-men break their silence and explain how to establish a moral and just society.

FOUR HORSEMEN is free from mainstream media propaganda -- the film doesn't bash bankers, criticise politicians or get involved in conspiracy theories. It ignites the debate about how to usher a new economic paradigm into the world which would dramatically improve the quality of life for billions.

"It's Inside Job with bells on, and a frequently compelling thesis thanks to Ashcroft's crack team of talking heads -- economists, whistleblowers and Noam Chomsky, all talking with candour and clarity." - Total Film

"Four Horsemen is a breathtakingly composed jeremiad against the folly of Neo-classical economics and the threats it represents to all we should hold dear."
- Harold Crooks, The Corporation (Co-Director) Surviving Progress (Co-Director/Co-Writer)

That was very good. Thank you.

While the suggest to change to an LVT tax instead of an income tax is an improvement to the status quo (income tax), a taxation on a persons land is not much different then their wage. Either way your freedom is bound (I.e not free).

Noam Chomsky. Yeah, probably not gonna watch it.

Scary stuff, that right there.

The tax is not the problem. The issue is what powers a monopoly enforcement class may wield. If those powers are not wielded, they incur no cost. Hence, require no "tax".

I'm not a fan of Chomsky either but to discredit or not watch a movie because he has a few bites in it is absurd.

So I'm 2/3s the way through and it seems like an excellent documentary for socialism not libertarianism.

Gonna save a bunch of people a bunch of time. Watch from 1:11:05 to 1:12:22. If you agree with that statement then you're likely on the wrong message board. Either that or I am. But the entire theme of the documentary can be summed up with that 1 minute exchange.

For those without TUBE, what is the exchange about?

Thank you for that summary. I just watched that section as you suggested. Here's my take. I do believe that individual achievement has to be about more than one's self. If it isn't, then why should I give a rip about how much debt our nation is accumulating that will be passed on to future generations long after I'm dead? If it isn't, then why should I be willing to possibly risk my life to stand up against the evils of collectivism? I do believe in something greater than myself. For me that ultimate "greater than me" is God. And that IMO is why socialism requires the destruction of religion, the family, and the local community. We all long for something outside ourselves. After all, we ultimately know we can't take any of our individual achievements with us when we die. The socialist state must destroy every possible rival of our external affection so that it alone may reign supreme in our hearts. "I love (God, my family, my community)" must be replaced by "I love big brother."

You guys are putting too much thought and critique into it. Its a good film to wake up the masses and show them the reasons for current state of the economy. No need to be such tightwads.

That's incorrect. Its a film that is suggesting we go to a socialistic/communistic type government/society. EVERYTHING they advocate for is more government force. Price controls, wage controls, consumption taxes, redistribution of wealth, agenda 21. On and on and on. How do they suggest we reach this state of nirvana they want without the force of a government hand. Just because they talk about the Fed/banking doesn't mean its pro-liberty. It just means they're anti-Fed/banking. Put some critical thought into what you watch. Any filming crew that puts together any type of film like this has a hidden agenda. You just missed it by a mile.

Based on the rest of the discussion, it appears that I wasn't wrong.
