We need to elect Ron Paul. Hiopefully, he cane reverse this alarming trend!

Here's a funnny:
SCIENTISTS DISCOVER DENSEST MATTER IN THE UNIVERSE
.... Scientists working at a major quantum physics research institution have recently announced the discovery of the densest element yet known to science. The element has been named “Governmentium.”
.... Governmentium has one neutron, 12 assistant neutrons, 75 deputy neutrons, and 224 assistant deputy neutrons, giving it an atomic mass of 312. These 312 particles are held together by forces called morons, which do not exhibit much activity, but are surrounded by vast quantities of lepton-like particles called peons.
Since it has no electrons, Governmentium is inert. However, it can be detected and quantified, as it draws energy from surrounding matter at a predictable rate and impedes every action with which it comes in contact. When an action is attempted in the presence of even a minute amount of Governmentium, the result is that the action can take more four days to complete, when it would normally take less than one minute.
.... Governmentium has a normal half-life of four years, but it does not decay. Instead, it undergoes a reorganization in which a portion of the assistant neutrons and deputy neutrons exchange places. In fact, Governmentium's mass and density actually increase over time, since each re-organization results in more morons becoming neutrons, forming isodopes.
.... This unique characteristic of moron-promotion leads some scientists to believe that Governmentium is formed whenever morons reach a certain concentration. This hypothetical quantity is referred to as “Critical Morass.”
.... When catalyzed with money, Governmentium often alters into a closely related element known as Bureaucratium, which is just as dense, but draws even more energy from surrounding matter and impede activities at a significantly higher rate, since it has half as many peons but twice as many morons.
