thats good and all...but why are you looking at Fords when buying a USED car? Especially for 20 grand. If I had to look for a wagon I'd probably look at Subaru Forester, at least you know it'll last to 100K miles w/o problems.

I've gotten over 350k miles out of two different ford suvs (explorer and bronco).
Regular fluid-changes are all that is required to make a ford last a long time.

Are you kidding? I've got 150k on my'94 Ford van and nothing even rattles yet. I've done brakes, a battery and an alternator, but that's about it.
My husband drives a '93 Escort and he hasn't done anything except brakes and a battery.
I'll never buy anything but a Ford.

I spoke to my friend, (in north or south carolina, don't remember) he said one of the local car dealers was super pro ron paul and even ran a ron paul radio station out of his dealership. :) Maybe this is the one!

Love my Chrysler so much that after the first one I had got totaled I went out and bought a 2nd one just like it. Still lovin' my 97 Concorde, don't like the newer models so not sure what I'll do after I have to replace this one.

I'm a Mopar nut & big fan of classic Chryslers. I have a Dodge SUV (Nitro R/T) and a '73 Newport and I love them both.
However, I also have this little Ford Escort Wagon. I bought it for $500, it has about 2 million miles on it and gets around 40 miles to the gallon and insuring it is pretty close to free. I work the hell out of this little POS because it's economically sound. I'll drive it until it blows up, and go find another one just like it.
Unless a resident of Detroit handling at least some of the parts on a car, I don't feel comfortable buying it. I hope Cerebus doesn't convince Chrysler to close it's MI plants.

That's a good idea for a website, like, companies ect who support RP, who we can give our business to.
Anyone game to create it? I could through my new Re-Seller hosting account.
