And on the front page of the Communist Newz Netwerk this morning they've tried to rile up racial division...Again, or still...

Seems I recall statements made in past years about "Polish" or "Irish", even "Italian" contestants and "The-Newz" either missed or chose to ignore them..

Miss America crowns 1st winner of Indian descent; racist tweets flow

http://www.cnn.com/2013/09/16/showbiz/miss-america-racist-reactions/index.html?hpt=hp_c2

(CNN) -- No sooner had the tiara been placed atop her head than a barrage of racist tweets flooded the Internet.
"If you're #Miss America you should have to be American," said one.
"WHEN WILL A WHITE WOMAN WIN #MISSAMERICA? Ever??!!" screamed another.
Nina Davuluri is American. She just happens to be of Indian descent. In fact, she's the first Indian-American to be crowned Miss America.
But the tweets that followed the 2014 pageant in Atlantic City on Sunday night didn't focus on how it's the second consecutive year that a Miss New York has taken the crown, or about the judge's questions (including ones about Miley Cyrus and Syria).
They were about Davuluri's heritage.
"Well they just picked a Muslim for Miss America. That must've made Obama happy. Maybe he had a vote," vented one person.
Not that it bears pointing out, but Davuluri's not a Muslim -- and the president didn't have a vote.
The 24-year-old Davuluri, who's from Syracuse, competed on a platform of "Celebrating Diversity through Cultural Competency." For the talent portion, she performed a classical Indian dance fused with Bollywood moves.

Davuluri's father is a physician. And she wants to be one too. She once battled bulimia, according to a profile of her on syracuse.com.
Being a trailblazer isn't easy. When Rima Fakih was crowned Miss USA in 2010, she faced a nasty backlash as well. Fakih is of Lebanese descent, and many were quick to try to link her to the militant group Hezbollah.
In Davuluri's case, many tweeters wasted no time connecting her to terrorism.
"Miss America right now or miss Al Qaeda?" tweeted Shannon McCann.
Others invoked the September 11, 2001, terror attacks. Yes, really.

Anti-Racist is codeword for for anti-white.

Just thought you should know in case you try to make that argument again. [Link] (http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Anti-racist_is_a_codeword_for_anti-white)

"Anti-racist is a codeword for anti-white" is a phrase often used by white nationalists, white separatists, white supremacists and their ilk. Individuals who make this claim allege that the real bigots are actually the people who claim to be anti-racists, as they have a secret anti-white agenda.

People that make this argument often cite anti-white comments made by certain alleged anti-racists; amongst their favourite targets (in an example of nutpicking) are the former Harvard professor Noel Ignatiev and his colleagues at Race Traitor. This obscure journal (whose correspondents denied the existence of white anti-racists, a denial with which the white anti-racist Ignatiev fully agreed[1]) called for the concept of a white race to be abolished and printed statements which, when taken out of context, appear to be calling for the literal extermination of white people ("The key to solving the social problems of our age is to abolish the white race").

The argument falls to pieces when one considers the existence of individuals and groups who identify themselves as anti-racist and yet do, unlike cranks such as Ignatiev, oppose anti-white racism. The Southern Poverty Law Center, for example, has a whole section on its site dedicated to documenting black racists.[2] If it is true that "anti-racist is a codeword for anti-white," then the SPLC must not be an anti-racist organisation.

Other anti-racist groups that have countered bigotry and extremism from non-whites include the Anti-Defamation League,[3] Hope not Hate[4] and Genocide Watch.[5]

The argument can be seen as an example of psychological projection. A person who sees the world entirely in terms of ethnic conflict may have trouble understanding that there are people who genuinely have a different worldview. As a result, they assume that anyone who claims to disagree with their views actually shares them, just in inverted form.

The phrase was used as the title of a song[6] by the Australian white nationalist musician Johnny White Rabbit, who says that people who disagree are "brainwashed with joo shenanigans."[7]

I'm not sure what the problem is?

The "problem" is that MSM takes every opportunity to stir the pot.

People have commented on race, hair color, religion, speech patterns and any other deviation from their version of "normal" since time began.....It is MSM who chooses to make a stink about it, it's MSM who has proscribed that society is to be homogenous...

Well we're not homogenous! Every one of us is different and nobody has to "just accept" anything.

Some folks relish individualism while others value group-think......What I'm seeing is one batch of group-thinkers bad mouthing another group...

I'll stand on my own two feet and proudly proclaim; "Fuck all the groups!"

In the end, I think the "people say dumb shit on Twitter" articles give sites a ton of hits, as does the topic of racism. People love to talk about it, even on here. Racism exists and with social media, you're likely to catch a bunch of people making it public. Big sites take advantage of people's loose lips/hands and turn it into an article for plenty of free hits. In these particular cases, I tend not to care since these people are knowingly putting it out there in public. Basically, it's best to just ignore it and focus on more important matters.

I actually thought this was bullshit (I've never cared for the phrase myself, I always figured that IT was bullshit too) but then I ran a search and got a bunch of white-nationalist hits. Hum. :-/ I figured that WNs would be drawn to the phrase and I'd expect some concentration of such sites, but the search results out of proportion enough that I'm forced to consider that you may well be right.

That said, the SPLC is a horrible reference for rationalwiki to make here, and had that reference not been tangential to the actual point I might have rejected their argument for that alone -- the SPLC is given to absurd histrionics. The SPLC is a hate-group masquerading as an anti-hate-group group in order to operate their bile above suspicion and below the radar.

Because I am able to reject logical fallacies in my own thinking (in this case, Poisoning the Well), I was able to consider the merits of the argument and just blot out the SPLC nonsense, invested a smidgen of research, and came out with a fair to middlin possibility that the phrase is indeed a kind of challenge coin for such as WNs.

Someone who is NOT a WN would indeed be well-advised to avoid it.

I've never been tempted to use it in the first place -- not only is it obviously untrue, it's also a fallacy in and of itself. The False Dilemma to start.

They do, but they sometimes still carry their class warfare against one another across the sea. It used to affect relations within, and between, the departments at a company I worked for years back. Those from higher classes looked down on the lower classes regardless of work performance, and would many times negatively impact the overall team performance because of clashes.

It is not about representation, it is about sending a message that Iraq freedom invasion was the last such invasion.
Unprecedented events like Barack Hussein Obama going to the White House, top American music award for an Indian muslim musician, Arab and Indian descent women becoming Miss America all occured over a span of 7-8 years of Iraq war.
Positive outcome of all that is that one of the biggest change aginst foreign interventions has been taking place among White Christian demographic. Maybe libs knew what they were doing.. who knows.

That said, the SPLC is a horrible reference for rationalwiki to make here, and had that reference not been tangential to the actual point I might have rejected their argument for that alone -- the SPLC is given to absurd histrionics.

RationalWiki is probably not the best source material. It was the result of backlash from a progressive editing a conservative wiki site:

RationalWiki

In April 2007, Peter Lipson, a doctor of internal medicine, repeatedly attempted to edit Conservapedia's article on breast cancer to include evidence arguing against Conservapedia's claim that abortion was a major cause of the disease. Conservapedia administrators "questioned his credentials and shut off debate".[14] Several editors whose accounts were blocked by Conservapedia administrators, including Lipson, started another website, RationalWiki, a sometimes satirical and sometimes serious wiki website with articles written from a secular, progressive perspective.[citation needed] RationalWiki's self-stated purpose is to analyze and refute "pseudoscience", the "anti-science movement", and "crank ideas", as well as to conduct "explorations of authoritarianism and fundamentalism" and explore "how these subjects are handled in the media."[78]

According to an article published in the Los Angeles Times in 2007, RationalWiki members "monitor Conservapedia. And—by their own admission—engage in acts of cyber-vandalism."[14]

If you wanna see how inaccurate and biased they are just check out Ron Paul's page on their site (http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Ron_Paul).

Maybe reading that page will give some insight into why they decided to choose to go with SPLC.

I came across the site a while back when I somehow found their terribly poor attempt at debunking the Austrian School.

My best friend for years was an Indian dude. He was fairly quirky for a Hindu (he was a "failure" b/c he was a biochemical engineer while twin brother was a doctor, asked white girls out knowing he'd probably never have the courage to take them home to the folks, wasn't at all materialistic, very thoughtful, sensitive)--yet he could be a mean bastard to anyone who'd take it from him. Competitive as hell.

He was rude to me when I was showing him the ropes at my old company. I told him essentially to piss off and that I didn't have to help him. Weeks later, I'm leaving tomahawks on his desk and asking him how his search for a squaw is coming along, and he's making WASP jokes about me.

From the cyber pen of one of the "journalists" quoted in the OP...

You won’t believe what CNN considers racist

http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2013/09/16/wont-believe-what-cnn-considers-racist/

Add American values to the list of items CNN and NBC consider to be racist.
Reporters at both networks blew a gasket after I posted a tweet affirming the American values of Theresa Vail – the gun-toting, deer-hunting, tattooed army sergeant who represented Kansas in the Miss American Pageant.
Miss Kansas had generated lots of attention in part due to her military service and tattoos. She also won ABC’s online “America’s Choice” poll. She advanced to the top ten but was eliminated before the infamous question round.
And that’s when I decided to offer up my two cents worth on Twitter.
Had reporters at CNN and NBC done their homework, they would have discovered that the accusations of racism against me were not only unfounded – they were just plain wrong.
“The liberal Miss America judges won’t say this – but Miss Kansas lost because she actually represented American values,” I tweeted.
The American values I referred to were her military service, her support of the Second Amendment and her devotion to God – illustrated with “The Serenity Prayer” that was prominently tattooed on her side.
However, CNN reported that my comments were directed at Miss New York, Nina Davuluri, after she had been crowned the new Miss America.
“Miss America crowns 1st winner of Indian descent; racist tweets flow,” read the headline of a CNN story written by Leslie Bentz.
“No sooner had the tiara been placed atop her head than a barrage of racist tweets flooded the Internet,” Bentz wrote.
Then, she quoted and posted a screen grab of my tweet about Miss Kansas.
Fortunately, Twitter keeps a time stamp of every posting – and in just a matter of minutes I was able to prove the CNN report was incorrect.
My tweet was posted at 10:53 p.m. eastern, according to the Twitter time stamp. Miss New York was announced as the winner of the pageant at 10:57:18 p.m. eastern. It shows I was tweeting about Miss Kansas – not Miss New York.
NBC reporter Eun Kyung Kim followed suit in a story titled, “New Miss America’s Indian heritage sparks racist comments.”
“Meanwhile, Todd Starnes, host of Fox News & Commentary, blamed the win on a ‘politically correct’ panel of judges, according to a series of tweets,” Kim wrote.
NBC’s Kim reported that I “blamed” Miss New York’s win on a “politically correct” panel of judges.”
But that’s not true. Contrary to the reports by CNN and NBC, my tweets were directed at Miss Kansas – not Miss New York.
Had the reporters done their homework, they would have discovered that the accusations of racism against me were not only unfounded – they were just plain wrong.
By 9:53 a.m. Monday morning, CNN mysteriously revised their story and removed any mention of me as well as the photograph of the tweet they alleged was racist. They also revised the headline, “Miss America crowns 1st winner of Indian descent."
CNN did not offer any explanation for the retraction.
Their gross slander was perpetrated either intentionally or out of ignorance. Either way, it’s yet another example of the kind of shoddy journalism that has soiled the reputation of the mainstream media.
Miss Kansas may have lost the crown, but she gained something the mainstream media can never claim -- the nation’s respect, trust and devotion.

Why? Do you know many?

Not any that I'm aware of. Perhaps "sure" was too strong a word.

"I don't doubt there's plenty of WNs that use that phrase" would be more accurate. I didn't doubt what Gunny posted, though I took it at face value. Makes sense that they would.

I'm open to being convinced otherwise, but to be honest it's not going to affect me much either way. I didn't think it would be controversial to contemplate WNs using it, but maybe you're more involved with that scene and are looking to set the record straight?

Apparently it was coined by a WN who called it "the mantra" and then encouraged members the movement to repeat it as often as possible to embed it into the public conscience.

She looks pretty cute to me.. /shrug

Seems to me that these pageants serve racism of all sorts, quite well. Significant events happening right now are probably too difficult for many to understand.
Since when is this a big deal..? Things such as maps, the marriage between a man and a woman, posing in playboy, and things such as...

I say, FKmmm... </give_a_sh!t>

I'm reminded of that actress.....umm.. played the character "Divya" on ...umm.. Royal Pains. (caught it on Hulu a couple times.)

We went to graduate school together. You know she's a trained opera singer, and all the other singers there (including me) had a massive crush on her.

I am waiting for Miss Lesbian America, and Mr Cross Dresser America 2015. We can make this happen for the LGBT patriots!

No need to wait. One of the (State) contestants this year was not born a woman...

to be fair, I have sent out hundreds of resumes without a single bite.

Sure. But do you really think a "white civil rights activist" is what you need? Are you going to sleep better at night knowing that "psyop" is out working for you?

Honestly I've never gotten a job with a resume outside of minimum wage work when I was younger. You have to get a referral from someone at the company is how I've gotten my last few.

Fine example of "group think" there Terrel!

Civil rights aren't for any group, they're for people...

Why are you directing this at me and not at the self described "white civil rights activist" I was responding to.

I bet she smells like curry...

Anyone watch the "Superficial Lite Porn" show last night? I'm surprised no one has brought up the answers of the 5 finalists questioning. Of course it came down to between Miss California(Asian) and Miss New York(East Indian), but it was Miss California's answer that FAILS all of US.

PS: I thought Miss Georgia should of won... HOT

I know people who have. Though I'd never call myself a black civil rights activist and I'm also aware of how actual civil rights activists are looked down upon.

I'm curious what our self described white civil rights activist does with his time. It seems like a must needed role. Hopefully with continued dedication white people will finally be able to get ahead - maybe we'll even see a white President one day.

Emphasis mine.

BT, what the heck are black and white civil rights activists and why so much skin color consciouness when activating civil rights?

Any "civil rights activist" who only fights for civil rights based on skin color AND tolerates/condones civil rights abuses of people of other skin shades would be more of an ethnic or racial activist and not civil rights champion.

Not singling out SWC or notorious scumbag Charlie Rangle but some "white" and "black" leaders in America who pretend to be fighting for civil rights and at the same time stand by/enable/support war crimes and volation of civil rights of children of other races abroad are nothing more than hypocrites and scumbags. If you disagree, can you name how many civil rights leaders in US have spoken out against civil rights abuses of Palestinian "brown" children by US funded policies?
You can't answer former Marine Rev Wright PhD, he is more of a Church leader than civil rights leader.

"Anti-Racist is a code-word for Anti-White."

It's these types of idiotic comments that make the Liberty movement and the Tea Party and the Right in general not very appealing to minorities. America is changing, and whites will likely be a minority in 50 years, if the Liberty movement wants to survive we have to work on minority outreach. If I was Black, Hispanic, Asian, etc. I would be disgusted by some of the things posted here.
