I heard he's going to recuse himself from any question he doesn't like.

At least until he consults with his attorneys.

He would come off looking like a douche bag if he did that.

I hope he does it.

Some guy on Freep? Come on now.

We know he didn't like the snowman, but he'll answer the questions.

I know this rumor is complete bunk, but if it were actually true I'd be all for it. Less hot air to fill up the room, after all. And it's not like it out of the question with Romney. He did decide to not participate in the CNN the first time, and in the Iowa debate just recently. Basically, it's the same thing except he'll actually have a presence there this time.

I bet there will be a snowman question for Romney just to piss him off.

Plenty of other gasbags there to pick up the slack.

Speaking of gas. I heard Tancredo fills up on tacos before each debate.

I don't see how this would help what people already view a shifty persona.

Are you kidding me? A politician giving up a chance to speak in front of a national audience? That is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. These guys can't get ENOUGH airtime up there.

I can guarantee you Romney won't be passing up ANYTHING.

I doubt it is true, but I HOPE to all hopes that it is true...

There is little that would make Romney look worse in NH than not answering questions. He's our main competition here (with McCain) and that would make his numbers plummet in this state.

Oh man........ SNOWMAN! Why didn't you mention this before? We could have made one up just for him :)

Did this person happen to have a "Fred 08" Signature ?

Don't believe anything on there, there are a bunch of supporters of different candidates who are lying about everyone else to give their candidate a boost right now.

I know what basically will happen is the candidates will says something like.
"That's a really good question on the federal reseave. I am going to ....(something totally unrelated to the question) [ding time over]."

It's no secret that Romney is a-scared of this format, I wouldn't be surprised if they have devised some way for him to avoid any question that he doesn't like. He probably has some nice flag waving, war-drum speech ready for the occassion.

He will respond to the question, he just won't answer it.
