Vegas Video. I'm still using 6, even though I bought the upgrade to 7, and 8 is out now.

I just use Windows Movie Maker. I know there are better video making software out their.

I can't wait for my new HD camcorder.

Sony Vegas. Regardless of what you use I HIGHLY recommend you dump your project clips into uncompressed raw format. It sounds excessive but as a seasoned editor I cant stress this enough, especially if you intend on doing more work in the future. I use a program called "Fraps" to do it.

I use Adobe Premiere and After Effects.

I have Adobe CS3 Web Premium and Premiere Elements 4. I wish I had upgraded to Production Premium instead of Web Premium because After Effects would be helpful.

Is Vegas hard to learn? I'm looking for something with a low learning curve for simple compiling... I just want to trim clips, then combine multiple videos and maybe add an audio track.
