One of the Republican Party’s loudest congressional voices against military intervention in Syria, Rep. Justin Amash, took a shot at one the GOP’s leading pro-Syrian interventionists, Sen. John McCain.

On Tuesday night, the Michigan Republican retweeted a tweet from McCain (R-Ariz.) from Aug. 2009 that discussed meeting with former Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddafi.

yeah I saw that on his twitter feed last night and it made me LOL pretty hard.

Justin has really been on fire with his twitter account lately speaking lots of truth to power.

Amash and his team have been very good with social media to get out his views, explain his votes and call out hypocrisy.

I think his vote explanations have really propelled his popularity. It gives him a chance to tell his side of the story before the media gets their chance to spin his stances on issues. You can get it straight from the horse's mouth. More liberty-minded candidates should take note of his success with this tactic.
