just saw part of it, good to have the coverage, but it still had the obligatory
"he doesn't have a chance to get the nomination" so he's painted as just a spoiler.

Ok. Now we need to raise $2.5 Million by the end of the week. Just saw the piece.

Didn't like them saying he doesn't have any hope of getting nomination.

We need one Hell of a showing from Ron tonight. The question is will CNN or the GOP attempt to marginalize him at the debate?

This former CBS grey-haird jerkball said he won't win and that he wants to impeach Cheney.

I never write the media but I think we have to for that BS?!?!!

EvilEngineer

... seriously they need to do some real reporting for once, they screwed up facts.

1. Dr. Paul does NOT want to impeach Bush or Cheney, thats Kusinich.... Dr. Paul voted against the movement in congress to do such.
2. I don't think we all agreed the RudysReadingList to cap off the 2.5 million... more likely it will be a little bit bigger than the November the 11th drive.

Midnight77
11-28-2007, 06:26 AM
I'm predicting $500,000 for Rudy's Reading List.

Contact CNN AM here before they run the piece again:

http://edition.cnn.com/feedback/forms/form5.am.html

Tell them that Ron Paul did not vote to impeach Cheney and that they are most likely thinking of Kucinich.

I'm predicting $500,000 for Rudy's Reading List.

you should always ain for a huge number, we shot for 10mil on Nov. 5th and got4.3, we got to be ambitious, if we shoot towards are means we'll hit below our means.

CelestialRender

I predict Rudy's Reading List will cap us off at $10m. The #s just aren't there for more than that, unless a lot of people stopped signing up for the email lists.

On the last two bombs, 2.3 x the pledges yielded the actual result. If that doesn't still work on this one, we'll probably be seeing the effect of all those people who hate daily emails.

COPYANDPASTETHISDONOTCLICKPLEASE:

I believe if you click the checkbox that says "automatically parse links in text" below the 'submit reply' button when making a post then people will have to copy and paste.

I'm not sure this is common enough knowledge cause I often see people putting hxxp:// etc.

Just to make sure: http://www.dailypaul.com

Caught the back half of the segment but it seems as they are feeling our reaching out to them. ;)

In that I mean they went from [RP doesn't have a chance] to [It doesn't LOOK LIKE he's got a chance] (Paraphrashing)

It's a step in the right direction albeit a baby step - Now all we have to do it inform them to get their background for the story correct - Who does the CNN background research for the segments?

"It's interesting to see how the numbers switch around, when you ask the questions that way..."

No shit. I think they are starting to Realize the Frank Luntz polling-style is BS and is going to make them look bad when RP is elected.

Ok. Now we need to raise $2.5 Million by the end of the week. Just saw the piece.

Uh... that was the same piece where they said he wanted to impeach Cheney. Take everything from the MSM with a giant grain of salt. Experience has shown if they can get something wrong, they will.

TruckinMike

they said he wanted to impeach Cheney

This needs to be corrected! That is a direct assault on our potential for getting new "Republican" supporters!

I'm emailing them NOW!!!

Thanks. FYI They don't know how to get Ron Paul by spinning stories, because his supporters come from too many different backgrounds.

These morons will be saying "he can't get elected" right up until his inauguration!
They STILL don't have a clue.

Matthew Zak
11-28-2007, 11:32 AM
They said two pieces of propaganda that will hurt him:

1. He wants to impeach Cheney

2. A vote for him will cost republicans the election.

The Cheney issue obviously needs to be cleared up so it doesn't happen again but I fear the damage has been done.

I think he can win. Just have to keep spreading the message.

Wow, that was quick. Thanks! Not a bad segment, although I think they got it wrong on the Cheney impeachment issue.

They got it wrong alright. Paul voted to shelf it.

Most people want to see Cheney impeached anyway though, so I think this mistake in misreporting the facts, may work in Pauls favor for once.
