SECRET budget documents show that a US military lab in Afghanistan analysed DNA from Osama bin Laden's corpse and confirmed his identify shortly after he was killed by a Navy commando team. The Pentagon denied more than a year ago it had any records of these tests in a response to a Freedom of Information Act request filed by The Associated Press a day after President Barack Obama announced bin Laden's death.
The Washington Post reported on Thursday that classified intelligence budget files provided by National Security Agency leaker Edward Snowden state that a forensic intelligence lab run by the Defence Intelligence Agency performed the DNA testing.
The Post reports that the tests "provided a conclusive match".
Bin Laden was killed at his Pakistan hideout in May 2011.

Pieczenik, a State Department official in three different administrations and an award-winning Harvard Medical School luminary, told The Alex Jones Show last week that the alleged raid on Bin Laden’s compound was a fable because Osama had already been dead for the best part of a decade. Pieczenik originally appeared on the show back in April 2002 when he asserted that Bin Laden had been “dead for months,” and that the government was waiting for the most politically expedient time to roll out his corpse.

Pieczenik said that Osama Bin Laden died in 2001, “Not because special forces had killed him, but because as a physician I had known that the CIA physicians had treated him and it was on the intelligence roster that he had marfan syndrome,” adding that the US government knew Bin Laden was dead before they invaded Afghanistan.

I think we'll start seeing a major difference in the type of articles/news that will be presented to the American public now that the Washington Post has access to the files instead of The Guardian. I think I read a story that The Guardian could no longer go to press with as many stories as they had, so they gave the Snowden files over to the Washington Post (or was I just imagining this?)

Even if it was a legitimate snowden leak, it is entirely possible that this "classified info" is just part of the ruse. I would think that any sort of bin laden cover up would be far out of reach of snowden (even with his ability for increasing his security clearance).
