The idea of bombing Syria to not be mocked lines up with the idea of "Saving face". It would appear that Obama is taking his marching orders from Al Qaeda and is trying to save face to not be mocked. How pathetic.

GAZIANTEP, Turkey—Syrian rebel commanders are sharing what they consider to be priority bombing targets with the Obama administration in the hope of launching coordinated attacks against President Bashar al-Assad's regime, potentially tipping the balance in the country's civil war.
