Instead of selling the surplus M151 vehicles, the military has to cut them into quarters and run over them with tracked vehicles. I have one that escaped the 'demilitarization' process and it's one of those vehicles you probably wouldn't want to drive at 70 miles per hour. It's best suited for off road use.

Still, it seems very wasteful those vehicles can't be sold to the public.

It didn't ding when the passenger wasn't wearing his seatbelt.

You expect them to let that death trap pass inspection?

Destroying property/wealth while being paid with stolen money. The life of a federal agent.

@CustomsBorder (https://twitter.com/CustomsBorder) constantly brags about how they violate natural rights and promote job opportunities for other potential land-pirates.

Even if they have seat belts and roll cages, they won't let them out of the military in one piece.
Even if you did have one out of the military, it's hard to get it registered. Many states wont register a vehicle that doesn't have a computer in it.

My M1009 w/custom built shade for the dogs. And my M1008 in the background. No electronics, no computer, no seatbelt buzzer, not even an interior dome light. Registered, tagged, and insured in Texas. In fact in Texas you don't even have to get them a license plate , insurance, nor wear a seatbelt(parade military vehicle regs.). But to avoid loophole hassles I did.

Thank God we got people watching over us here... Indeed. People cannot be trusted to make their own purchasing decisions. Then they might make the wrong decision. And we can't have that!

How is it the owner cannot at the very least use their possession as an offroad vehicle?

These people should be tarred feathered and pissed on.
