BRANNON TO JOIN NATION'S LARGEST TEA PARTY ORGANIZATION
FOR RALEIGH PRESS CONFERENCE THIS WEDNESDAY
RALEIGH, NC - Tea Party Express, the nation’s largest Tea Party political action committee, will hold a press conference Wednesday, August 28 at 1:00 PM at the Sheraton Raleigh to encourage Congress to sign Sen. Mike Lee’s letter to Senate leadership stating they will oppose any spending bill that includes funding for the president’s health care law.
Greg Brannon, candidate for U.S. Senate in North Carolina, will join Tea Party Express chairman Amy Kremer at the press conference, which is open to all working media.
Citizens from across the State of North Carolina are urged to show their support for the effort to defund Obamacare by attending Wednesday's press conference.
"The coming Obamacare regulatory tidal wave threatens to bring on an economic crisis in this country unlike any we’ve seen in recent years and national polls reveal that Obamacare is already killing jobs across America. North Carolina needs a Senator who won’t be afraid to defund Obamacare and stop it from crushing our economy," said Brannon.
Brannon added, "We’ve all heard the campaign promises about fighting Obamacare. Well, the era of promises is over; the time to act is now."
Dr. Greg Brannon is a Cary pro-life Obstetrician and conservative leader in North Carolina. A popular speaker for Tea Party groups the past few years, Dr. Brannon is the anti-establishment candidate running in opposition to the Big Government, big spending status quo in both political parties.
