Medical marijuana is legal in California, but the combination of valuable drugs and what is often a cash-only business can attract some rough characters.

That's why some dispensaries use armored car companies to get their money to and from their favorite bank (or elsewhere). But the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration says no more. The federal authority has told armored car companies they can no longer work with some, perhaps all, cannabis retailers in California and Colorado.

more if clicky

So DEA is just declaring something illegal and dictating to private companies who they can conduct business with. Well...because fuck you, that's why.

It's much more difficult for the feds to do their "civil asset forfeiture" when the assets are protected by armed guards..

An organized effort to defund these organizations WITHOUT the help from government needs to be done.

Which organizations?

Armored car companies?

DEA?

Legal weed sellers?

I don't see how they can since the armored car services are private. They do have to be insured as a security agency, but I don't see how the DEA could force the insurance companies to tell the service what they can do since the insurance companies are private also.

I can tell you this much... those armored cars are like the SWAT Bearcats... and the security guys are armed to the teeth as well. There are some with AR-15s and pistols... don't wanna mess with them.

Already happened with the banks. In the Circuit Court decision about the MT firearms law, it was also mentioned that according to the federal government, state marijuana reform laws in the 9th District (where CA is located) are also illegal according to the federal government.

It sounds like the states need to come together and force the feds.... Sure, the feds can withhold funding, but if a majority of the states say no, what are they going to do?

I say we do away with the cheap thugs that enforce man or other animals laws with long prison terms.

Apparently only common folks can be guilty of conspiracies. Drive some legal mmj revenue and it's conspiracy! Suggest that Syria is a created scam and it's only a theory.
