No, not due to Sharia rule coming to America but due to more Freedom arrival.

DHS developing facial-scanning technology for police

Published August 21, 2013

The Department of Homeland Security is testing surveillance technology that could someday allow law enforcement to scan crowds with video cameras and ID people by their faces -- in another advancement that could raise major privacy concerns.

The department acknowledged Wednesday that testing is still in the works, and claimed it is "not ready for deployment," following a report in The New York Times about progress being made in the facial-scanning push.

Not me. No desire to have all of that on my face.

Wait. So Facial Pubes cause errors in Facial Recognition Technology?

Last time I shaved was bootcamp in the '70's...

I think only if you are normally clean shaven and all your ID's and things are clean cut, and then suddenly you appear with a beard. Maybe it causes a glitch??

I have Facial Recognition on my phone and it works with my beard obviously. I've never tested it by shaving completely, but I hate my face without a beard, I've had a beard for almost 20 years. I shaved it off once a few years ago and my daughter said, "You don't look like my daddy anymore." I grew it right back and have no plans to shave it off again.

Sometimes I trim it real real tight but the phone still recognizes me. But I never go into FULL Beard mode, with one of those long 6+ inch long beards. I think it would have to be an extreme change for it to screw up the facial recognition. CLEAN shaven on all ID's and then one day sprouting a Santa Claus Length beard, that might work.

I think the below NFL player, they didn't shave until they lost a game or the season ended, something like that. So he had a 3 or 6 month beard or something.

That kind of difference could throw a few software apps off...

Aviator sunglasses do the trick. Also, strategically placed 'tribal' design temporary tattoos that appear to alter the cheekbones, brow ridges, nose width, and eye alignment.

Places to focus on,

disrupt the bridge of the nose where the forehead, nose, and eyes meet

thin the nose with dark lines to either side

run the mark above your cheekbone on one side, below your cheekbone on the other side

distort your lips by marking above the vermillion on one side, below the vermillion on the other side

same with the eyes, contour a black line above one eye and below the other

If you are careful and skilled, you can make all this look like intentional art instead of intentional disruption

Some of the stuff on the web, aka "CVDazzle" is way over the top and makes you stand out too much and is therefore counterproductive. As long as you know what to focus on, less is more. Learn the datapoints that the software uses for facial recognition and disrupt those points with a minimalist attitude.

Blend the design into something that looks like a tribal tattoo and people will just think you are trying to be next-gen cool. They will think you are just stupid instead of figuring out that you are trying to disrupt facial recognition. That's OK. Let people think you are stupid and jobless. Don't let them realize you are trying to disrupt facial rec or you will attract more attention instead of less.

Anything that spoofs the system will report you as a "Blank" and bring down even more heat, faster.

It's smash these machines and systems, tear them out by the root for the horrendous assaults on liberty and privacy that they are or accept the fact that from here on out, no human being will ever be truly free again.

Those are the only two choices we got.

The IR LED's are great for 95% of cameras currently in the wild, but not all cameras have that weakness. The more people use IR LED's to disrupt cameras, the more they will fork out more money for cameras with solid IR filters rendering the countermeasure less useful.

Exactly why I am talking about less obtrusive methods like aviator sunglasses and subtle manipulation of FR datapoints. "No record found" is a very common result. "No face detected" is not. The trick is to shoot for the middle ground where it detects that a face is present, but distort the datapoints enough so that it cannot actually match the face to a record.

It'll be because of these guys. Not facial recognition countermeasures.

Look like perfectly normal folks to me..

It's guys with pretty, slick haircuts and no facial hair that appear odd..

Wait. So Facial Pubes cause errors in Facial Recognition Technology?

no it doesnt effect them, as they mainly use infrared sensors....
but a few strategically IR LEDs will confuse the scanners.
