Ok, I am all for Ron Paul and all ... but who would his VP be if he got the nomination or enough money to run third party competively? Some suggest Dennis K ... but I would think someone like Pat Buchanan would be a much better choice.

Mark Sanford would be good. I was very sorry to hear about Tom McClintock's infection with Fredhead, otherwise he would have been a good choice.

Never thought I would say this but I think Pat B would be a great choice for VP AND he would bring in a lot of votes since he's more of a "skilled politician" then our guy.

Isn't Pat B. gung-ho about the iraq war and mideast intervention in general regarding the "war on terror"???

otherwise he sounds like RP ....

Not even close. Pat B. is exactly RP on foreign interventionism. Pat B. isn't a supporter of free trade however and is a protectionist. He also has a shady political history going back to the Nixon administration, and a documented record of the same sort of super nationalism including racism and anti-semitism the Paul campaign would like to distance itself from.

Third party, they probably need Pat to make a splash, but if he gets the nomination I think Paul definitely goes with a safer candidate like Sanford or Palin.

I think Pat Buchanan would make a great VP. I made a Clint image, but really he should be secretary of defense.... :D

No.

Ah you're right I'm sorry... I'm thinking of Newt G. He wants less government but is fanatically in favor of war.

Nope. He also wants to pull the troops out of all the countries.

Pat Buchanan is the man, but he should work behind the scenes in a Paul administration. Or, maybe he can serves as Ambassador to Israel or China. Hes very astute politically. After all, he did coin the term "Silent Majority."

Those who brand Buchanan as a racist or anti-semite are using the same smear tactics used against Ron Paul. Its really quite simple why they do it too. They cant defeat Paul and Buchanans arguments.

Buchanan should be part of a Paul administration, but we may need Sarah Palin if Hillary gets nominated. The women are screaming for a Woman in a High Ranking position, so we need someone strong to combat Hillary.

Buchanan's about 10th on my list. He is a protectionist and has made some very anti-Jewish sounding statements.

Marcus Sanford is an inner party member. For the love of god, please no more inner party zionists.

I've read all his books, and he does make several comments, which out of context seem racist or sexist. In context they aren't though. That person who said that he was branded as a racist because people couldn't compete with his arguments is on the mark. That's the last strategy.

Ideally I'd like him as a VP, but that ticket would get branded as too racist and old. Definitely needs a spot in the Cabinet though.
