Do people not know how to search to see if information is already posted here, or what?

LOL - Having a bad morning?

I know I try, but I've had many search "fails".

Especially when it is just a video and no transcript.

With a transcript on a particular news story, you can search the names.

Yeah, I did 'goat' in a title search. It evidently ignores "goat's".

One thing I have found useful when it comes to seeing if someone has already posted a particular (YouTube) video is to use the unique 'v=' identifier as the search term. In every YouTube link, there will be a string of (mostly alphanumeric) symbols following 'v=' (and sometimes followed by "&...") that will uniquely identify that particular video (vBulletin uses this code in the [video] tag).

For example (from the OP - square brackets replaced by parentheses):

(video=youtube;USmK2qSOsvs)https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=USmK2qSOsvs(/video)
http://youtu.be/USmK2qSOsvs

"USmK2qSOsvs" would be the search term to use. Of course, this only works for YouTube videos. It won't work for articles unless they include a link to a YouTube video. And it won't work for separately uploaded vids of the same clip.

Don't volunteer potentially incriminating information to your doctor, including whether or not you own firearms (just say you don't own any).
