Mace, Bright or Cash?

Does anyone know what sets these candidates apart from one another? I know Mace and Bright are probably fairly similar, but maybe some SC residents can enlighten me.

Mace & Bright are very similar. Cash, as I see it, is more of a "Club for Growth" type fiscal conservative, with a mix of socialcon and a Jacksonian FP. To compare them to current and past SC Senators, Mace & Bright would be more DeMint-like and Cash would be more like Scott. Any of them are an improvement. Personally, I am supporting Mace, but would have no problem giving my time and money to Bright.

I think Cash is more like Richard Mourdock than Scott. He's definitely better on civil liberties and foreign aid than Scott.

Lee Bright seems to be more like Rand than DeMint, given he supported Rand in 2012 and is Rand Paul-sequence on foreign policy.

I really like both Mace and Bright but atm it seems that Mace needs some touch-up work on her interview skillz. She definitely seems green but very genuine. Not a big fan of Bright's southern drawl but I can handle it I guess.

Southern drawls are popular in South Carolina. I like it personally, makes him seem more authentic.

At this point, between Mace and Bright, I honestly don't care which one of them wins provided one of them actually succeeds in doing so. Putting it off and then declaring almost within the same time frame ticks me off, to be honest since it feels too coincidental. Both are better than Graham by far, and while I've nothing against Cash, I know less about him than I do Mace or Bright.

I'm sure they are but I'm one of those righteous northerners and it's not something that I'm use to to put it nicely.

I'm not willing to send money to anyone who doesn't have a record in office to back up their words.

Bright has a record to prove how he will legislate. So he got my money.

Cash is criminally underrated, for some reason people dismiss him which I don't understand. Best way to describe him is as an old right paleo-con. On the issues, any of the three of them will be an all star in the Senate.

People don't dismiss him, but with purer candidates it's hard to support him. He should run for state legislature in 2016.

When it comes to spending, foreign policy and civil liberties I don't know that he is any less pure than the other two. If you break down the issues all three are pretty much identical, they basically only differ when it comes to how they present those views.

Do you mean most of the SC GOP? Because Mace and Bright have attacked Graham right out of the gate. I think Bright said Lindsey is acting as a "community organizer for the Muslim Brotherhood."

Arguing with these people is useless in this instance. The end justifies the means. If they think Mace is worse than Bright and end up supporting the more electable candidate of the two, which is Bright, that can only be a good thing. This race is unique in that Bright is both more mainstream/electable and more libertarian than Mace.

Bright has:
- Legislative experience in an Upper House (the South Carolina Senate), Mace has no experience
- A proven libertarian/fiscal conservative voting record
- Broad appeal to South Carolina's Evangelical and social conservative community - he can unite these people with the Liberty movement to take down Graham
- Far better speaking skills meaning he can hold his own in a debate against Graham or the Democrat, as well being able to perform better in interviews and public speeches
- Higher name recognition than Mace among grassroots conservatives that would vote in primaries
- Much less baggage, Mace was a co-owner of FitsNews, which spread rumors that Gov. Nikki Haley had an extramarital sexual relationship with the other co-owner, Sic Willie, as well as this, the site also often features soft pornography
- Strength and masculinity, that can help him portray Graham as weak and effeminate and will mean his potential future US Senate colleagues treat him with more respect than they would Mace
