The Statists Are Desperate ...

…So desperate they aren’t thinking straight — not that they ever did. Ergo, they are sending That Ole Battle-Ax, Hillary Clinton, out there to deliver a series of speeches “about the challenges undermining Americans’ faith in government.”

If listening to this monotonous drip, whom our taxes have financed for the last 30 years while she only grew louder and shriller, doesn’t destroy whatever “faith” remains to the sheeple, I don’t know what will.

Yep, I’d say we’ve pretty much won. Thanks to Jay Stephenson for the link.

From the Washington Post (most of the article is about the Voting Rights Act & discrimination):

[...] Clinton’s address to the American Bar Association’s annual meeting in San Francisco was the first in what she said will be a series of major addresses this fall about the challenges undermining Americans’ faith in government. [...]

Clinton said she plans to give a policy address on the balance between national security and transparency next month in Philadelphia, while she will discuss the nation’s global and moral leadership later this year. She said her speeches will tackle the challenge of declining confidence in government and other institutions.

“Skepticism of authority has been part of our national character since the Pilgrims, and complaining about government is a treasured American pastime,” Clinton said. “But it is troubling that many Americans continue to lose faith and trust in the press, in banks, in sports heroes, in clergy and just about every institution.”

In San Francisco, the ABA awarded Clinton its prestigious ABA Medal in recognition of her pioneering career as a woman practicing law. ABA President Laurel G. Bellows lauded Clinton’s “lifetime in pursuit of social justice.”

“lifetime in pursuit of social justice.”

Doublespeak at work again, properly translated what the ABA hacks really mean is a 'lifetime spent in the perversion of justice'.

Becky Akers really nails it as well.

Just once I would like to see this supposed lack of faith in government actually manifested in reality.

I don't think we're winning, despite what Becky says. Things are going to get a whole lot worse before they get better, which will probably be during Christ's 1,000 year reign. Until then, I won't hold my breath.

We have REASONS for not trusting Govt, Banks, or the MSM. Why? They've all burned us. They've lied to us. They've abused us. They've murdered us. And here she comes defending all of their misactions expecting us to return to Blind Faith in Govt, Banks and MSM. Blind Faith kind of disappears once you get screwed. If Real Faith has been earned, it will remain long after Blind Faith.

That's right folks. We gotta make you idiots have faith in government again. Don't look at the government as the source of your lack of faith...the lack of faith is something wrong within yourselves.

She has to get ready for insertion into the throne, she is the next infection, like it or not.

Unless we topple the media and wake this country WAY up (if the NSA didnt do it, will it happen?) then she is the next president, all the signs are there.

Not that it is really related except in the most existential way, this just inspired the posting of this here:

Mouse and I made our presentation, I told my story, the parents agreed. The girl on the tube train would not be the one, she was shy, she had just passed the point of complete innocence and could not pose. Her younger sister had been saying the whole time, "Oh Mummy, Mummy, I want to do it, I want to do it." She was glorious sunshine. Botticelli's angel, the picture of innocence, a face which in a brief time could launch a thousand space ships.

We asked her what her fee should be for modeling, she said a young horse. Stigwood bought one for her. I called the image "Blind Faith" and Clapton made that the name of the band. When the cover was shown in the trades it hit the market like a runaway train, causing a storm of controversy. At one point the record company considered not releasing the cover at all. It was Eric Clapton who fought for it. It was Eric who elected to not print the name of the band on the cover. This had never been done before. The name was printed on the wrapper, when the wrapper came off, so did the type.

This was an image created out of ferment and storm, out of revolution and chaos. It was an image in the mind of one who strove for that moment of glory, that blinding flash of singular inspiration. To etch an image on a stone in our cultural wall with the hope that the wall will last. To say with his heart and his eyes, at a time when it mattered, this is what I feel. It was created out of and a wish for a new beginning. It was created out of hope and a wish for a new beginning. Innocence propelled by BLIND FAITH.

Originally from an advert to sell lithographs of the Seidemann artwork during 1999.

Rand is one of the most capable people to debunk and expose this chicanery. Hillary will have one difficult and trying general election if she goes toe to toe with Rand. It would be the most polarized election in generations. Rand has read way more books than she has.

Yeah, wouldn't you like to get hold of one of their dictionaries.

Transparency: Cannot be seen, transparent, secret.
Morals: Things that allow you to ignore the pain and suffering of others.
Conscience: Using science to screw others out of their money.
Patriot: persons that die for you're desires so you don't have to do without.

We gotta use the press and government to make people believe in the press and government is like saying we gotta use this dead battery to recharge itself.

Clinton has already testified they are losing the "information war" to quote her exactly.

But it will be mildly comical to see them trying to mass up a whole bunch of wires in many goldberg-esque loops to try to recharge their dead battery.

But we won't do it again. Honest. Trust us. We love you, baby. We won't ever hit you again.

Exactly. I am sure a huge bouquet of entitlements is about to be delivered with a note saying "sorry".

Then when the taxpayer checks their credit card bill, they'll see the bouquet was actually charged to themselves.

Shillary, if government officials like James Clapper can get away with lying like he did and not suffer any consequences, then the emperor has no clothes and your attempt to restore faith in this system will go nowhere.

This government has no respect for the rule of law. It is illegitimate and needs to be abolished.

There is an obvious void, that being courts of justice...

In the future any such courts must bar those who contrived the "Just-Us" system from ever practicing law in them...

Slick Willie and his shrew are prime examples of those who shall only be permitted entrance as a defendant...

And it's not just that people saw Clapper get away with outright lying. That's bad enough, all by itself.
But now they see him being put in charge of "reviewing" and "reforming" the very same system he lied about!

One honestly has to wonder: are they deliberately trying to rub peoples' faces in their corruption & hypocrisy?
How can they fail to understand that this is what they are doing? And if they do understand it, why are they doing it?
Are they trying to determine how much shit they can plop onto peoples' plates before people refuse to eat any more?
I suspect that they are. If they can get away with it without significant resistance, so much the better for them.
And if they can't, they'll have a perfect excuse for moving from "soft" tyranny to outright, in-your-face "hard" tyranny ...

Of course, Hillary will never explicitly acknowledge the existence of such utterly corrupt hypocrisy as the source of the "loss of faith" she whines & mewls about. Instead, she'll bitch about how it's all the fault of "skeptics" and "anti-government" types (libertarians, conservatives, "conspiracists" and - of course - "racists"). And no doubt she'll spout a bunch of vacuous nostrums of the "it takes a village" variety.

I'm actually looking forward to it. Her lame platitudes will do nothing but serve to deepen and further the very phenomenon she'll be railling against. She'll just be pouring more gas on the fire ...

Until she apologizes to US troops and Iraqi civilians directly, no chance of any restoration of faith.
She is better off leaving politics for good and seek forgiveness.
