Why We Want Bob

The race for New York City’s next Mayor just got a lot more interesting!

Bob Thompson A.K.A. DrinkingWithBob (on YouTube) has formally announced his candidacy for Mayor of New York City.
With well over 18 million YouTube views with a large percentage coming from within the NYC area,
Bob Thompson is a well know name here at home in NYC as well as nationwide.

Bob’s YouTube “rants” emulate the average American citizen crying out for some sort of shred of sanity within a political system that seems to have abandoned all logic and reason.
In November 2013 the voters of NYC will have an option for sanity and common sense in government, Bob Thompson for Mayor of NYC running with the Sovereignty Party of America!

When reached for comment Bob stressed transparency in government pledging to film and make public every meeting and move he makes as Mayor of NYC. Bob also made a point that our public servants need to start understanding that they work for the people “The Mayor works for the people, the people don’t work for the Mayor”. Also adding “The taxpayer deserves to be more of a part of the political process, and they will be listened to when I am Mayor”

Sovereignty Party of America founder Anthony Tolda added “We are as proud as can be to have Bob Thompson as our first candidate with the party! Bob’s common sense approach to government is exactly what this city and our country needs, we trust Bob will carry the party message far and wide, and is in this race to win it should the voters of NYC choose sanity in government in November 2013.

He makes impassionate 1-2 minute often hilarious dialogues about various topics on his youtube channel DrinkingWithBob that are also posted here: http://drinkingwithbob.com/ . A lot of Americans connect positively to his resonant message of reason.

If you are a New York State resident, you can help him out by giving him some signatures to make the ballot deadline, which for practical purposes is on August 17th. All you need to do is print out and sign this petition (http://wewantbob.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/Signing-petition-Bob-for-Mayor.doc) and send it in to the provided address.
