In a shaky performance, bordering on Christine O’Donnell-esque– Nancy Mace correctly attributed GOP losses in 2012 to having nominated a candidate that left conservatives wanting…

We lost in 2012– and some would say we lost because our nominee was too conservative. Well, I would argue we lost because we were not conservative enough and we fractured our party.

Mitt Romney lost because he was a fucking JOKE of a candidate from the start!

He was the laughing stalk (stock?) of Europe several different times, he called the Turkish people "terrorist" on live TV, he was a fucking moron who's only job it was to eviscerate what was left in the confidence of the Republicans, conservatives and the like.

I think towards the end his god damn slogan was "Im not Obama" ???

Mitt Romney: In Your Heart, You Know He’s A Loser
Are the Republicans deliberately throwing the presidential election?
http://original.antiwar.com/justin/2012/03/29/mitt-romney-in-your-heart-you-know-hes-a-loser/

On the one hand, the GOP is telling us Obama is leading us down the road to "socialism," that he’s "appeasing" our enemies and stiffing our friends, and that he’s basically destroying the country. On the other hand, they haven’t put forth a candidate who has a chance in heck of beating him. The leading candidate for the party’s nomination is a caricature of everything voters are sick and tired of: he’s a phony, a spoiled rich guy, an automaton whose words and actions convey, above all, an almost comical impression of inauthenticity.
[...]
Romney isn’t so much a serious candidate for the presidency as he is a national joke: his record as a "flip-flopper," his inability to project anything remotely resembling sincerity, and his Richie Rich persona have all combined to turn him into a human piñata for both liberals and conservatives to pick apart. Which leads us back to the question I asked at the beginning: is the GOP deliberately throwing this election?
[...]
If voters are in the mood to punish the Democrats somehow, and if they can’t in good conscience do it on the presidential level, then isn’t it more likely they’ll take it out on the rest of the ticket? If Republicans can retain control of the House, that may be enough to keep them from regretting their loss at the top of the ticket. Another wave of victories on the state and local level will perhaps be enough to satiate them, at least for the moment, until they get another crack at the White House. Then they can sit back and blame the President for everything, as the crisis unfolds, while cat-calling from the sidelines: a perfect set-up for career politicians who have no principles, no sense of duty to the country, and no compunctions about defrauding their supporters. With Congress in their hot little hands, they can obstruct the President’s domestic agenda and heckle him into getting more aggressive on the overseas front – a perfect vantage point from which to observe the rapidly accelerating decline of the American empire.

Yeah, I saw the video of Nancy Mace's interview last night and I was not at all impressed. She does not look ready for the big leagues.

Mitt Romney lost the election because everone knows he is a completely corrupt douchebag looking to abuse the powers of the executive office for his own personal benefit. Most people had enough common sense to see right through his bullshit. Then his supporters went ahead and completely alienated damn near the entire Ron Paul community with dishonest voting tactics.

People are sick and tired of professional politicians who are "big league" material like Linsay Graham.

I'm impressed she has the courage to get out there and run.

He lost because he didnt win enough electoral votes, mostly. Sure theres other reasons like being unlikeable, not being conservative enough, etc. The country favoring Chris Christie proves mainstream republicans love Neocon pigs

I'll gather that you didnt watch the steps leading up to the Election. Ron Paul should have been the Republican Nominee.

Wasn't that the mantra leading up to the nomination of Dole, McCain, and Romney?

Perhaps she is an unhealthy weight but do we really need to make fun of her weight? She did fine, IMO.

There's nothing wrong with her weight and she doesn't look unhealthy.

Thank you ZENemy, that was an excellent video put together by a free stater. That is 1 of the benefits in being in the state that is most important in presidential elections. You get to do stuff like this. Go New Hampshire living.

Mitt Romney was the other "FASCIST PUPPET" the corporate/money-masters give you to choose from. That's why government created the political bribery system, which spans all 4 branches of government and as Reverend Wright says, TPTB select the puppets, before the people elect the puppets.

There's nothing wrong with her weight and she doesn't look unhealthy. No kidding. I went out and googled images to see what she looked like from the neck down, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with her. It's really sad that someone would say that.

I didn't mean that she sounded "unprofessional" moreso that she sounded like she didn't know what she stands for. She was waffling on some rather serious policy positions regarding the "security vs. privacy" debate.

I think towards the end his god damn slogan was "Im not Obama" ???

He had a great 35 point fiscal plan, with 5 stages and a flowchart and PowerPoint display that could be distilled down to an executive summary that went like "Hey if we do absolutely fucking nothing, eventually the economy will grow into this huge fucking behemoth of a wealth-and-soul destroying monstrosity we call the federal government". Great, we can elect some fucking boardroom tool to do nothing.

In foreign affairs he had an equally simple and eloquent plan: we'll have the Israelis point somewhere and wherever they point, we'll bomb the shit out of them. I'm surprised he could get Israeli dick out of his mouth long enough to give a campaign speech.

The guy was a total fucking loser from the start, just like you said. I think the NeoCons, now having co-opted both parties prefer having a Dem president because a Dem president seems to get away with waging war abroad without the nasty blowback from the supposed anti-war wing of the Dem party.

Wtf, they seriously have a problem with her weight? She has no weight issue and is quite a fine looking woman. I share sentiments that she needs more practice on tv but that's it.

Yeah well liberals have never been known to address the issue as much as the candidate.
