(WHAS11) -- With Congress on recess, Kentucky's Junior Senator is spending time in the Bluegrass this week.
Rand Paul's stops in Kentucky include two locally.
Senator Paul is having a coffee shop meet and greet Tuesday afternoon in Leitchfield, Kentucky.
The event at the McDonald's on Main Street and starts at 4:45 Central Time.
After that event, the senator will be heading to Elizabethtown to speak to the Central Kentucky Tea Party Patriots Group.
That speech is set for 7 p.m. at the Elizabethtown Christian Academy.
Senator Paul is also having events in Hopkinsville, Corbin, Barbourville, Pineville, Middlesboro, Harlan, Hyden and Manchester.
