Pastor Stephen Broden interviews Reverend Jesse Lee Peterson at the March for Jobs rally that took place in Washington, D.C., on July 15, 2013. Peterson talks about the "Amnesty Bill" that is currently in the House, which would provide legal citizenship for all illegal immigrants currently in the United States. He demonstrates that passage of this bill would devastate the black community, which is already struggling with high unemployment. Peterson says that liberals and black leaders, even the Black Caucus, have "sold out" the black community in order to gain power and votes for themselves, and the black community needs to wake up and take action.

I'd not be surprised if that was the plan. Keep the blacks down and have the dems sweep in promising to take care of the African American community. We can't afford having them be successful, and the Democrats know it. Because if large parts of blacks start entering into the middle class, they might break their allegiance to the Democratic party, for economic self interest if nothing else. Better for the dems to keep them poor so they'll remain loyal to the party who can offer them the most goodies.

We've all been sold out Reverend. If he believed this bill would severely devastate America, but give Blacks a slight advantage until total meltdown, would he support it? If this ship goes down, we all go down with it. White, Black, rich, poor, whatever. We all lose. Most of the world salivates at the thought of this country collapsing under its bloat, yet his chief concern is Black unemployment. He's right about the last part though. The Black community needs to wake up and take action. While they're at it, can they go ahead and just wake up the rest of America as well since that is what it's going to take to defeat the tyranny that lies ahead. Damn I hate this divide and conquer BS. /rant off
