His comments lately about the NSA and what has happened since he authored the Patriot Act have been very admirable. Only time will tell if he is being opportunistic here, but right now he seems like somebody who is concerned for his country for the right reasons.

It should matter that an architect of a law says that the "interpretation" of the law by the Administration is in violation of the intent.

The totalitarians don't care though.
