A quick summary from 21Freedom (http://www.21freedom.com/12-illinois-reps-vote-against-4th-amendment/).

In a telling 205-217 vote, Rep. Justin Amash put house representatives on record regarding their stance on the 4th amendment. Amash’s amendment to the DoD appropriations bill would have defunded the NSA’s domestic spying programs by limiting data collection to only persons “under investigation.” The amendment was defeated by a surprisingly narrow margin of only 12 votes, despite heavy NSA and administration pressure.

Four Illinois representatives voted YES on the amendment, two Republicans and two Democrats. However, there were several major surprises amongst the 12 NO votes from Illinois reps. First, Rep. Bill Enyart (D-12) voted no on Amash’s amendment despite being a co-sponsor for the LIBERT-E Act, which also limits the NSA’s ability to collect ‘metadata’. Another Democrat, Jan Schakowsky (D-9) voted NO on the bill despite being a heavy critic of the Patriot Act.

We will have more coverage in the follow days, and this vote will be included on our FREEDOM SCORECARD, which will be published next week.

Bustos and Schock are cowards for not voting...

Schock doesn't want any more bad PR and Bustos wants to hold onto her seat because Shilling is running again.

I doubt Shilling would be in our favor though...

Schock needs to be primaried, he's a disgrace. Club for Growth is already targeting him.

I think he's a homosexual to make matters even worse.
