Rubio is a joke and will not be any serious competition to Rand in 2016.

and the power of MSM propaganda. Neocon talk radio and Foxnews will likely do all they can to boost Rubio. If not for President they at least want him as VP and to dilute support for Conservatives like Rand.

From what I can tell, it seems the neocon talkers have been moot on publicly rallying their listeners in either direction on this NSA spying situation because they know they'll lose their conservative cred if they go Kristol on this thing. We saw Amash interviewed on Fox by Varney and saw what line of questioning he got. Then, fast forward to the vote which went down by a mere 12 votes and it's clear the insiders know something is up and Amash just made a huge name for himself, which could be his Ace card should he run for Senate up here. He upended damn near half of the republicans in the House and his ally-ship w/ Conyers netted over half the dems, surprising since it's rare that the dem coalition bails on their guy. Even the host on MSNBC, which is a known white house propaganda network, actively praised and agreed with Amash and said party labels are meaningless in some instances. This could happen a lot more going forward, this is new territory against the state itself. This doesn't fit the rubber stamp like all other renewals of state power. This also forced Bentivolio to show some guts which is finally nice to see. We hit the phones hard and it payed off to some extent and hopefully even tho we came up short this time, we can make Snowden proud the next.

The single most power propaganda machine for the Progressives is not MSNBC or AP since Republicans do not listen to them are largely aware they are not credible, it is Foxnews. When the time is right they will push the most Progressive Republican candidate.

It will start with the Five with Perino, Gutfeld and Beckel in a funny way trashing Conservatives while at the same time pushing reasoned talking points for Jeb Bush and Rubio.

Bill O will trash Conservatives as kooky as usual, then he will suck up to Karl Rove who will sing the praises of Rubio and Jeb Bush. Hannity will have Rove on the next night to push his talking points praising him as the 'architect'. Greta at 10pm, same deal.

Average Joe voter who can't think for himself will buy into it and vote accordingly.

Not to forget Limbaugh that when the time is right will push the establishment Neocon-Progressive Republican.
