In the past, more often than not there used to be drone strikes soon after attacks on NATO forces, it should be known in next day or to what extent new drone polcies have changed.

There has been no reports of retaliatory drone strikes after these soldiers were killed. Not clear if following was the main reason or not;

CIA cutting down on drone strikes in Pakistan, fearing public outrage (http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=drone&source=newssearch&cd=1&cad=rja&ved=0CC0Q-AsoATAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.theverge.com%2F2013%2F7%2F25% 2F4557080%2Fcia-cutting-down-drone-strikes-in-pakistan-fearing-public-outrage&ei=dd_xUdHxCoSA8gSUwIDYDQ&usg=AFQjCNEhrrhkMIF--rKFJ4A6091xFK45Qg&bvm=bv.49784469,d.eWU)

The tempo of CIA drone strikes in Pakistan has slowed significantly in recent months, and anonymous officials tell The Associated Press (http://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/criticism-alters-us-drone-program-pakistan-19771652) that the reason has to do with the public's intensifying criticism of the program, which has reportedly killed hundreds of civilians since 2004.

Obama escalated drone strikes that routiney killed civilians/children almost 4 years ago, why fear of public outrage registering just now?
