Kudos to both Mr.Drago and the local news for airing it!

The local news aired it but notice how they backed up all the states arguments to justify the stop but provided no one else on Joe Draego's side to back up his side.

State media.

I'm glad to see logic and common sense expressed on TV...

No amount of whitewashing can obscure truth..

This video was posted on the 20th. Does anyone know if he was served a warrant? It states at the end of the video that a warrant will be served, properly I hope. (I searched and found nothing).

A great guy doing the painful work of liberty. (Painful. in that, the warrant may cause him grief.) It would be so easy to give in and just show them the license, good work to you Sir.

Joe needs to learn how to make proper signs...

Large enough to read from a distance.
If at night, use reflective tape

Stupid newscaster..."civil disobedience" is when you peacefully refuse to comply with a law, not when you refuse to comply with a police officer who is operating outside his legal authority.

Really wish there were more people out there that would do this. Hell, I just wish there were more people that just 'got' why this is wrong in the first place.

If they don't serve him the warrant then what a pathetic scare tactic by them. So petty. If they do, I wonder what the heck it will be for?

Far easier to exert your power over the law abiding mundanes than to actually do some work and go after criminals. In this case, you have the law abiding citizens come to you.

So sickened by this. It is like the lazy "journalism" nowadays. This counts as "police work" in 2013. sad.

Now it's just a "License" Checkpoint? WTF

License checkpoints are specifically written into law in my state, however SCOTUS has already ruled that only DUI checkpoints and immigration related checkpoints are legal. Just seems like no one has challenged the license ones yet.
