Dr. Paul was a rockstar today. He's getting so much smoother and comfortable delivering his ideas and answers.

Super impressive performance!!! :D

"Have you ever peed in the shower?"

What was that guy's problem?

RP did an excellent job though, and the crowd really seemed to respond well to him.

I saw the Q/A portion. Overall I think he did a really great job. He kinda didn't answer that Palestinian guy's question though (maybe he didn't understand what he was asking?).

I think he was trying to hard to be funny at the end there with that dumb question.

What was Ron's response?

The guy was like I have a 3 part question.

1. What is the significance of Presidential press conferences?

2. As President how often would you have them?

3. Have you ever peed in the shower?

A few immature people laughed and RP said that he was sorry that he didn't hear the last question because it sounded like the most important one.

The guy foolishly repeated it.

And RP smoothly said ok, well I'm not going to answer that last one. Then calmly went on to talk about how he hated staged events like GWB's "Mission Accomplished" Speech and talks with the American public that were artificial.

I don't know if anyone will be able to youtube this one since it was a webcast. Hopefully someone on the Charleston campus will do it.

political apathy

Heh, maybe so, but I was raised not to speak to my elders in such a manner. Especially a man who has given extremely logical arguments for every question that had been asked rather than the glittering generalities he would have no doubt received from any of the other candidates.

Yeah, if you're gonna try and be a smart-ass, at least make sure you're funny.

And RP smoothly said ok, well I'm not going to answer that last one.

He missed a golden (forgive the pun) opportunity to say that the Constitution doesn't give the federal government authority to regulate shower peeing and he'd leave it up to the states and individuals.
