I think it's time for me to start doing drugs. "Reality" isn't making sense to me anymore.

Isn't that the "your children belong to the state/schools" lady? She should learn how to read from a tellaprompter before she starts getting cocky on the air. What a dunce.

According to "Melissa" the U.S. government's "relationships" with Russia and China is apparently more important than it's relationship with its citizenry.

I'm glad Barbara Walters broke the glass ceiling in broadcast journalism for speech impediments. Melissa owes much to her.

UPDATE: I apologize for this remark.

How this lady ever found work in broadcast journalism absolutely perplexes me. She's even more annoying to listen to than Rachel Maddow and Chris Hayes.

@MHarrisPerry wants a man to commit suicide because Obama is president. If Bush was... not so much. http://youtu.be/ixdceqRlHKY

Well, it's politically incorrect to talk about that, but people with varying degrees of speech impediments are quite common in broadcast media. Probably due to the fact that modern treatment for speech impediments is often very similar to training for broadcasting.

They all try to emulate John Stewart, except they double the sarcasm, triple the smarm, and reduce the intelligence level.

Right. I apologize for the remark.

Who's politically correct around here?! ;)

And it wouldn't be a shock to Barbara Walters. Her friends at SNL used to make fun of it constantly. I.e. Gilda Radner as "Bawbwa Wawas".

Actually, I always kind of liked Barbara Walter's delivery.

Tom Brokaw's another example of a broadcast journalist with a noticeable quirk about his speech (he has the same unusual "glottal L's" as Stephen King), but in his case, I think it's mostly just an endearing trademark.

Here Melissa Harris-Perry asks a worthwhile question:
