I just got back to my hotel room after seeing Rand Paul speak at this year's FreedomFest 2013 conference in Las Vegas, Nevada. Although a rather short speech, it was greatly received by the crowd of wealthy donors, student activists, and alumni of the liberty movement. I'm sure there will be a video of his speech, which was titled "All Roads Lead to Rome...Except One", playing on the theme of the conference, "Are We Rome?" There is still one more day of FreedomFest, including another panel with Rand Paul before the conference comes to a close. I'll also be attending a fundraiser being held by the Nevada GOP, who will be hosting Rand Paul at another casino resort in Las Vegas. You can find these photos on my Flickr late tomorrow.
