#1 At one public school down in Texas, a 12-year-old girl named Sarah Bustamantes was recently arrested for spraying herself with perfume.

#2 A 13-year-old student at a school in Albuquerque, New Mexico was recently arrested by police for burping in class.

#3 Another student down in Albuquerque was forced to strip down to his underwear while five adults watched because he had $200 in his pocket. The student was never formally charged with doing anything wrong.

#4 A security guard at one school in California broke the arm of a 16-year-old girl because she left some crumbs on the floor after cleaning up some cake that she had spilled.

#5 One teenage couple down in Houston poured milk on each other during a squabble while they were breaking up. Instead of being sent to see the principal, they were arrested and sent to court.

#6 In early 2010, a 12-year-old girl at a school in Forest Hills, New York was arrested by police and marched out of her school in handcuffs just because she doodled on her desk. “I love my friends Abby and Faith” was what she reportedly scribbled on her desk.

#7 A 6-year-old girl down in Florida was handcuffed and sent to a mental facility after throwing temper tantrums at her elementary school.

#8 One student down in Texas was reportedly arrested by police for throwing paper airplanes in class.

#9 A 17-year-old honor student in North Carolina named Ashley Smithwick accidentally took her father’s lunch with her to school. It contained a small paring knife which he would use to slice up apples. So what happened to this standout student when the school discovered this? The school suspended her for the rest of the year and the police charged her with a misdemeanor.

#10 In Allentown, Pennsylvania a 14-year-old girl was tasered in the groin area by a school security officer even though she had put up her hands in the air to surrender.

#11 Down in Florida, an 11-year-old student was arrested, thrown in jail and charged with a third-degree felony for bringing a plastic butter knife to school.

#12 Back in 2009, an 8-year-old boy in Massachusetts was sent home from school and was forced to undergo a psychological evaluation because he drew a picture of Jesus on the cross.

#13 A police officer in San Mateo, California blasted a 7-year-old special education student in the face with pepper spray because he would not quit climbing on the furniture.

#14 In America today, even 5-year-old children are treated brutally by police. The following is from a recent article that described what happened to one very young student in Stockton, California a while back….

“Earlier this year, a Stockton student was handcuffed with zip ties on his hands and feet, forced to go to the hospital for a psychiatric evaluation and was charged with battery on a police officer. That student was 5 years old”.

#15 At one school in Connecticut, a 17-year-old boy was thrown to the floor and tasered five times because he was yelling at a cafeteria worker.

#16 A teenager in suburban Dallas was forced to take on a part-time job after being ticketed for using foul language in one high school classroom. The original ticket was for $340, but additional fees have raised the total bill to $637.

#17 A few months ago, police were called out when a little girl kissed a little boy during a physical education class at an elementary school down in Florida.

#18 A 6-year-old boy was recently charged with sexual battery for some “inappropriate touching” during a game of tag at one elementary school in the San Francisco area.

#19 In Massachusetts, police were recently sent out to collect an overdue library book from a 5-year-old girl.

All this is doing is Desensitizing and/or traumatizing adolescent and the youth of America... once their lives are ruined with the surveillance state of Big Brother dossier/records on everyone... they won't give a fuck. It's almost like 'The State Apparatus' wants to create a new generation of criminals, so as to maintain their budgets and justify increases in funding.

In NASCAR they call it, 'Cautions breed Cautions'

Boy kissing another boy on the cheek is ok, though. That kind of self-expression needs to be encouraged; prohibiting homosexual expressions of affection in public could make children believe their homoerotic fantasies are unnatural. Anyone who disagrees is a bigoted redneck who hates gays.

The bigger Govt gets, the bigger the punishment for ever lesser and lesser offenses. If we do not change the direction we are going, it will eventually lead to executions for lesser offenses, such as using any one of your Constitutional Rights.

The POLICE are the primary subject that is taught in every Public School. The Lessons: Blind Obedience. Do NOT question Authority. Emotional Dependancy. Intellectual Dependancy. School is an Indoctrination Center teaching students to be prepared for one thing: PRISON.

What I find interesting and insightful is that the school may have been looking for an excuse to get her (based on comments), and even went so far as to try and get permission to release her records to defend themselves in the media circus the issue caused:

The school board said it "will be glad to comment further on this matter if the student and her parents will provide the Lee County Board of Education a written release of the school records."

That seems odd to me. Not that they need permission to release records but that they need to release all her effing records to defend themselves on one particular incident.

Anyway, I bet a lot of these rules are just how they elect to toss out the undesirables. Not that that makes it right but it is how they will act when everybody is guilty of something.

I'm not surprised by some of this. While my school never arrested anyone for these things, they sure did overreact and had so many absurd rules.

My middle school banned any kind of physical touch indicative of heterosexual or homosexual affection (including hugging.) Since "affectionate touch" isn't too objective, any kind of hugging (even just hugging a friend you haven't seen in awhile) could have been considered a violation of this rule.

Butter knives and glass bottles and containers were banned from school property. We didn't even have them in the cafeteria, so you had to use a fork to cut your baked potato or whatever.

In elementary school, my friends and I lost recess privileges for building a teepee out of sticks and pretending the sticks were magic wands (touching or picking up sticks was forbidden because sticks were considered a "dangerous object".) In 3rd grade, a kid had his pencil confiscated because he sharpened it on both ends and the teacher said it wasn't safe. We than had a classroom rule that you may not sharpen your pencil on both ends. I'm not making this up, peeps. Some of the schools have rules so ridiculous, the kids find them funny.

More and more children being arrested for trivial things…

Trivial? TRIVIAL!? I think not...

In order we have:
1#An eco-terrorist
2#Another eco-terrorist
3# An obvious drug dealer
4#Officer saftey had to be ensured
5#Domestic Violence
6#Graffiti, Destruction of Property.
7#Disturbing the peace.
8#9/11 never forget.
9#Concealing a deadly weapon with intent to eat apple
10# In the words of Admiral Akbar "its a trap" kudos to this officer for not falling for an obvious ploy. Officer ensured his safey.
11#Another concealed deadly weapon with intent to butter toast
12#Seperation of Church and State.
13#Failure to comply, obstructing an officer, possible danger to himself, DEFINITE danger to the officer.
14#5 year old or not officer safety is not something to take lightly. WE NEED THESE LAWS TO PROTECT OUR HEROS IN BLUE!
15#Public disturbance, violation of local noise ordinance.
16#Verbal assault. I hope he had to compensate the victims for their mental anguish.
17#Public indecency. Child predatory behavior. Performed lewd acts in public with a person under 18.
18# And another. The solution is obviously to begin sex-ed and sensitivity training as early as possible, preferably in-utero.
19#Theif of public property. I hope swat tactics were used as to minimize danger to the brave officers. Better shoot her dog to while your there.

As you can see all these cases have been reviewed and all have were justifiable.

Now I need to go shower.

As a member of the mundane, I don't think records developed by a government indoctrination institution holds in validity. With that bias in mind, I checked out the links you provided FH. What did the records of this naughty child show? She pushed a kid when she was in middle school and got suspended for that and when they performed their warrantless search, that produced the paring knife, they discovered a pack of smokes and a lighter. All these heinous crimes i myself committed when i was a youngster. I can't believe the school board thought they would be vindicated with the release of her school records, There is nothing there, IMHO.

The first and foremost question in my mind is this: where in hell are the parents? What are they doing? Why are they as a bloc tolerating this behavior by school officials and police? Why are they not banding together as a force with which to be reckoned on these issues and reading everyone the riot act? Why are they not withdrawing their children from these schools?

Never mind. Nothing to see here, people. All is well... these are not the droids you're looking for... They, the parents are part of the continuum of sorts. Each successive generation of parent gives up more control to the state, relies on the state more for raising their child. In my school district , theye wanted to add 4 year old preschool to the school district. my neighbor was all for it. Saves on daycare cost for her. Each generation of parents as a whole are a little more indoctrinated than the last. I wouldn't doubt the children in school now will, in twenty years say, "This country isn't as free as when I was a growing up." Because that generation's children will seem that much more welded to the state. I think I have read every Michael Crichton book. Towards the end I think he saw that the state was culpable in the destruction of society and our environment. But early on he was very pro state. I remember reading a book from the Sixties, I think, can't remember the title. About a super computer that utilized human minds. In that book, he described a need to take the authority away from parents and give to schools and social workers. That this would protect children from bad parents. It was my first insight into theire planned society. I read that book in the early Eighties and watched theme steadily implement their vision. The progressives have been at this for a very long time.
