"The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 72 percent of Likely U.S. Voters think it is at least somewhat likely that the NSA has monitored the private communications of Congress (http://www.naturalnews.com/Congress.html), military leaders and judges," said the survey. "That includes 45 percent who believe it is Very Likely."

That perception is bipartisan, Rasmussen noted. "Most Republicans, Democrats and unaffiliated voters all think the NSA is likely to have monitored those in the other branches of the government. Most unaffiliated voters (56 percent) and those in the GOP (50 percent) consider it Very Likely. Thirty-two percent (32 percent) of those in (http://www.naturalnews.com/NSA.html)President (http://www.naturalnews.com/President.html) Obama's party (32 percent) share that view."

Conspiracy goes mainstream eh?

Justice Roberts is a prime candidate in my view.

I must ashamedly admit I hadn't thought of it before, but sure, of course they are.
At a very bare minimum the NSA has dossiers detailing every state official's opinion of the NSA.

Someone's going to have to deal with you and your conspiracies son.

The title of this article is kind of inaccurate. The article only mentioned that a majority of Americans believe that the NSA is wiretapping most members of the government, not that those members are being blackmailed (which would be something that you could infer if you thought about it). The difference is, I don't think most people have heard of Tice's interview (sadly). So, like fisharmor said, I don't think most people have even thought about blackmail being a possibility.

Maybe I'm wrong (I hope I am).

The irony is the NSA probably wiretapped Reuters when they were conducting this survey. Now the NSA has a list of the 72% that think they're up to no good.

All the more reason we should be forcing our reps hands on this. If they are supporting the violations they need to be gone.

Okay. I haven't heard of Tice's interview. Well...not until now. http://www.corbettreport.com/interview-685-russ-tice-reveals-the-truth-about-nsa-spying/

Just imagine the candidates we'll have in the future! Monitored from birth. Every expressed thought recorded and analyzed. Not only will they have all the information about someone, but they'll also know what tactics are going to work on them.

You've gotten soft. Remember: assume that which can be exploited will be exploited.
