There's an anti-police/police brutality demonstration and punk show in a public park here in NYC every year, should be happening on the 28th of July I believe. It has gotten pretty hostile in the past, but outside of this, I'm not sure of any other specific demonstrations.

I didn't really "Smile" but I did have kind of a "Good riddance" type of response. The injustice is that they survived the experience, but I guess everyone deserves their trial...

I don't hate all cops, although I recognize that pretty much all of them violate the NAP as a career and so I don't approve of it. But I do hate cops that do things like that...

Its one thing to arrest someone who does something they shouldn't be arrested for because the law says so. Its another thing to flat out beat the crap out of a defenseless person like that.

Because as mentioned earlier, when this happens during a football game, the fans cheer the police tackling the person who runs onto the field. They can't have their precious game interrupted and immediately cheer the lions chasing down, "The drunken idiot" who interrupted their 3 hours of utopia.

They would commonly agree, "He shouldn't have been there..He deserved what he got. " blah blah blah....There's no doubt in my mind the majority would cheer and praise the few extra beatings a guy would have endured.
