Huckabee is only doing well in Iowa by capturing the same voters that supported Gary Bauer and Alan Keyes in 2000. Keys got 14.24 % and Bauer got 8.53% in the 2000 Iowa Republican caucus.

Together, the religious right candidates, Bauer and Keyes received 22.77% of the vote in the 2000 Iowa republican caucus.

Huckabee is capturing the same 20% of the voters.

Bush won with 40% and Forbes won with 30%. The Forbes voters could be very important for Ron Paul.

Huckabee, a baptist minister will break apart the winning republican coalition of economic conservatives and social conservatives if elected. Huckabee is only backed by the social conservatives and has forsaken the economic and libertarian conservatives.

The critical state for the republican nomination is NH--a libertarian and independent state.

Iowa has historically not mattered so much. RP will come in first, second, or third in Iowa and then claim victory and move on to NH for the big win.

The media attention coming out of these first two states will propel RP to the nomination.

We're doing pretty good considering the hostile media coverage.

Hopefully Ron Paul will come 1st in Iowa with enough turnout and the other voters split 6 ways!
