It could this come to pass just like everything else has. Limited news cycle and people not giving a damn. The tabloids, female talk show hosts, entertainment shows and late night TV all will be a buzz about the cute Russian soldiers. All will be united in mocking those that oppose it like it is no big deal.

"They are just here to help and we should welcome them". <cheers, clapping> Anyone that does not like it is intolerant and ignorant. Average people fall in-line and echo the propaganda.
