On Thursday, 14 Republican senators joined with the Democrats to vote for this bill. It is a shame that one of them — Lindsey Graham — represents my home state of South Carolina.

South Carolina needs a senator who will put border security first, not just pay lip service to it. South Carolina needs a senator who will work for the people he represents and not for the leftists who crafted this bill. South Carolina needs a senator who will not subsidize or incentivize more illegal immigration, who will not support legislation that will increase unemployment, and who will not support pork-laden legislation drafted behind closed doors.

Most of all, South Carolina needs a senator who will put forth solutions that help our economy. We should secure the border, fix our broken visa program, and then work toward finding a way to address illegal immigration without encouraging more of it.

Mace certainly knows a lot abut paying lip service. That's what this has pretty much been.

Hmm... she needs to step it up if she wants to take it to the all powerful senior senator. How about pointing out in the most withering, frightening terms that the bill would lead to the mass firing of regular South Carolinian's from their jobs in bars, cafe's, restaurants, hotels etc. to be replaced by the new pool of registered provisional immigrants due to the Obamacare mandate incentive and how much of a massive betrayal this is of the common working man and woman?

Lets face it our only hope in this race is Bright barnstorming the state day and night or Tom Davis getting in. Graham needs to be attacked hard, viciously and relentlessly if he's to be dethroned. Nice aint going to cut it.

I think Nancy Mace would be a terrific candidate and senator, and also the best chance to defeat Lindsey Graham. If/when she announces her campaign, I think a moneybomb is in order.

She just started a mailing list and revamped her website nancymace.org. I think she's going to run.

Mace would have a better chance at defeating Graham than the other two.
