View Full Version : Greg Brannon - US Senate Throw Down Party

Some have said that Dr. Brannon could trump Rand on the purity chart and while that remains to be seen, he's been out speechifying and attending house parties across the state to get his grassroots traction going. So between now and the 30th we need to raise as much money for him as possible cause when the quarter ends he'll need ample donations to bring more donations and endorsements on board. The guy got major applause when he addressed the attendees at the recent state convention and he has a good pitch that resonates with southern conservatives. http://secure.gregbrannon.com/

http://gregbrannon.com/us-senate-2014-the-doctor-is-in/

“If you want to be represented by a Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, Mike Lee or Jim DeMint type, send me to the US Senate.”

“If it’s not enumerated in The Constitution, the federal government has no business being in that business. Plain and simple.”

I'll match the first $100 derived from this thread.

I also snatched up the gregbrannon2014(dot)c0m domain so it won't be messed with. I wondered why his FB and Twitter accounts are gregbrannon2014 but not his official campaign domain. Anyway, I own it now and will set up a redirector to his official page soon.

"As a Christian, I believe marriage is between one man and one woman.

For years, activists have been attempting to use the federal government to force individual states and citizens to accept their view of same-sex marriage.

Unfortunately, the Obama Administration stopped enforcing the Defense of Marriage Act.

The Defense of Marriage Act was enacted in 1996 to stop Big Government in Washington from re-defining marriage and forcing its definition on the States. The Defense of Marriage Act prevents places like San Francisco and New York City from imposing their definition of marriage on North Carolina.

The Obama Administration’s actions are not only an assault on traditional marriage, but show a profound lack of respect for the Constitution and the Rule of Law.

If elected to the U.S. Senate, I pledge to do everything I can to stop bureaucrats and unelected judges from imposing their definition of marriage on the people of North Carolina."

Does not compute. Stop bureaucrats and unelected judges from even having a say in it then I'll contribute.

I'm sorry but putting one issue beyond individual sovereignty for personal religious beliefs doesn't do it for me. I'm sure he vote for Amendment One. SMFH.

And what of those activists that attempt to use the federal government to force individual citizens to accept it's view of opposite sex marriage?

Just got back from my day long C4L seminar so this is my first glance at a pc since this morning. Anyways, I highly suggest that everyone attend the 8 hr course when one comes your way, they're so informative and filled with intellectual and political ammo that RINOs don't want you to have.

I knew that some of the liberals here on Ron Paul forums might have a problem with Brannon. But the Constitutional Conservatives and libertarians seem to like him a lot. He seems to at least be every bit as good as Rand.

I'm not sure he's a lib, but he's apparently got sucked into the gay marriage/abortion swamp. Let's say Barry Goldwater was running again somehow and knowing that he was pro-choice, I'm going to vote for him regardless. I don't get suckered into a phony argument like boobus would.

I assume he has found that it is important to his constituents and himself personally (gay marriage). As far as a political issue, I find it more a typical diversion from more important issues. Best not to get involved, IMHO.

Abortion and gay marriage are sideshow issues for carnival voters. The lesson is to not be a carnival voter. I'd vote for a pro-choice candidate if he could honestly save this sad-sack nation, even though I am firmly pro-life.

That is enough for me.

Brannon is very pure, perhaps even more so than Rand. His views are identical to Ron's.

Identical? In any case I have not been paying too much attention to this race, although I see his updates on facebook. How is he doing in the polls? Does him winning seem like a likely possibility?

Edit: Just checked recent PPP. Looks like he's only at 7% :/

He was the best general election candidate on PPP, down only 44-40 to Hagan. Most of the GOP candidates on PPP aren't running. Thillis who is the only other candidate didn't set the world on fire either.

Don't forget, NC last Spring passed a gay marriage/civil union ban with greater than 60% of the vote.

He currently has 40% in a head to head with Hagan.

Very likely that Brannon can beat Hagan. Her disapproval numbers are higher than her approval:

Raleigh, N.C.- PPP’s latest poll of North Carolina voters finds a tight, though slightly Democratic-leaning, Senate race brewing for 2014. Senator Kay Hagan, who has a 41% approval rating compared to 42% who disapprove...

Brannon is also the strongest declared GOP candidate in a head to head contest with Hagan. All he needs is more name recognition:

June 12-14, 2013
Survey of 500 North Carolina voters

Q12
If the candidates for Senate in 2014 were
Democrat Kay Hagan and Republican Greg
Brannon, who would you vote for?
44% Kay Hagan
40% Greg Brannon

Dear Mr. sluggo,

Thank you for your generous contribution to my campaign. It is an honor to have your support in becoming the next Senator from the sovereign State of North Carolina.

During this critical time in my campaign, it is imperative that I continue sharing our message with voters across the state.

It is with your generous support and confidence that I can continue fighting for the constitutional conservative values that have made our nation great.

With you on my team I am confident we will be victorious on Election Day.

I look forward to working with you in the coming weeks and months to Restore the American Dream here in North Carolina.

Sincerely,
Greg Brannon for Senate

Dear sluggo,

The 2014 elections will be here before you know it.

And with Michael Bloomberg planning to spend tens of millions of dollars in next year's election to elect an anti-gun House and Senate, it's critical you know which pro-gun heroes to support.

I'm currently down in North Carolina with Republican U.S. Senate Candidate Greg Brannon.

After spending time with Greg, I can assure you he's the kind of leader we need to join Pro-Gun Senators like Rand Paul and Mike Lee in their fight to defend our Second Amendment freedoms.

While so many politicians pay lip service to the Constitution, Greg Brannon knows what "infringe" means, and will be a strong advocate for the right to keep and bear arms.

sluggo, because I believe this race is so critical, your National Association for Gun Rights PAC just donated $3,000 to Greg Brannon's campaign.

Not only that, but I made a personal contribution to Greg Brannon's campaign.

The June 30 End of the Quarter Fundraising Deadline is rapidly approaching, and a strong showing will send the powerful gun-control lobby a loud-and-clear message: HANDS OFF OUR GUN RIGHTS!

After you read the email below from Greg Brannon letting you know exactly where he stands on the Second Amendment, I hope you'll join me by CLICKING HERE (http://paracom.paramountcommunication.com/ct/13460808:16132587938:m:1:468299823:28F865D8F5FD50B B37DFADD93F4C0616:r) to make a generous contribution to Greg's campaign.

Gonna need a ticker on Brannon's moneybomb days next year. He can raise money but tickers are so important to keeping interest. The birth of the moneybomb came from the ticker idea itself.

If you remember Ron's first birthday mb then you will understand what I mean. I hate that tickers have been abandoned by Liberty candidates.
