Among independents, Rubio gets a 41/35 to Paul’s 37/37.

So now they are going to spin it that Rubio will be a stronger candidate with the independents.

John McCain has never been popular among Republicans. He was up to his eyeballs in Bush's failed immigration reform bill, and yet he was the GOP nominee. This means nothing.

It just means Republicans are going to lose again in 2016. I'm sure that won't make the RNC rich...

I can imagine it now "ma'am Rubio might be done by 15 points but with a confirmation from you or your nurse for a contribution of 100$ today will perhaps save the country vs. the communist invaders -- if not then I feel bad for you kids."

Realistically a candidate losing is more than not better for the fundraising. You can easily talk people that are a part of the RNC into supporting underdogs vs. the democratic machine.

Largely because the same factions beat themselves up and the guy with the most money slides through the back door.

The money came for John McCain only after state media showed whom they support.

John McCain was broke in December 07, almost had to sell his bus and his support was non-existent. Ron Paul raised 6 million in one day in the month prior and had a massive turnout of support at his rallies.

It was state media that went in over the top mode to actively campaign for John McCain presenting the opposite of reality, cut Ron Paul out the NH debates and ran a smear campaign against him.

It was only after this media campaign that the money came in for McCain. I suspect this is what the media will do for Rubio or whomever is the establishment candidate.

Good news.

Rubio is Rand's largest competitor as of now for 2016.

I smacked the neo-Trots in the comments, which is always fun to do at Neo-Trot Central.

He is a TRAITOR to the rule of law, and the borders of the sovereign nation he pretends to serve.

….and I wasted money supporting him in 2010.

Are conservatives finally beginning to understand that Rubio and his ilk (http://voxday.blogspot.com/2011/06/are-neocons-are-losing-red-faction.html) are globalists, and that their interests are–and always have been–elsewhere?

58% Still support this Manchurian Marxist Marco Rubio?

Are Republican voters that stupid over Rubio? It's obvious Rubio is a plant, just like the Phony Tea Party that backed this Aspen Institute Ass. Rubio the Fraudster.
