People from liberals such as Feinstein to imperial neocons like Cheney, and the insignificantly spineless such as Boehner have referred to Snowden as a traitor. What is he a traitor for? He blew the whistle on government corruption and using illegal practices to spy on its own citizens. Sure, he fled the country, but this is most likely due to fearing for his life. Ron Paul said he wouldn't be surprised if the government tried to assassinate Snowden, to include using a drone. I completely agree this is a strong possibility. My personal opinion is the traitor is not Snowden, but the people in government who ignore the Constitution and infringe on our God given, fundamental and inherent rights. I encourage you to watch the video and make up your own mind.

If people like those listed are calling him a traitor, then he MUST be a patriot.

Too many people trust the Fox to watch the Hen House. Since this information is so damaging (because the Govt is the Criminal in this case), their first intent is to ignore him. We are well past that so now they are going to try to do the same thing that they did to Ron Paul, and that is to discredit him.

The definition of Whistleblower requires that the reported activity is illegal. And it is in fact illegal. However our Govt is now trying to claim that what they are doing is legal through legalese hocus pocus which enables them to slap him with the Label of Traitor, but more importantly, continue with their Illegal activity. As Snowden said, to be labled a Traitor is the highest possible honor that could be bestowed upon him from the Govt of Treason, By Treason, and For Treason.

Snowden is a HERO because he knew damn well ousting their dirty secrets would earn him the label.

Hell even Ron Paul himself came out and said that he fears for Snowdens life due to a possible Drone Assassination. If they do kill him, it wont be an assassination, he ousted the criminals in office, thus, it would be Murder.

He's a patriot to what America should be.

He's a traitor to what it currently is.
