When I'm reading my Gmail, I see all sorts of other candidates popping up in the google ads above and to the right of my email... yet never a Ron Paul ad.

Should we run GoogleAds?

Yes, and I think we should direct the ads to a one of the supporter made youtube released videos, but on an independent site so it doesn't rely on youtube.

Yeah, like that. However, if it is a youtube video then it is always at the mercy of the people running youtube. Plus, I really like this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bkcAQ4X8Omg

we own the internet. I do not see how google ads could help ron paul at all to be honest.

No, we don't "own" the internet. We do have a heavy presence, but do you think every American that goes on the internet even knows who Ron Paul is? Do you think every one of them that does know who he has seen one of the excellent videos that promote him?

Google has a lousy ROI for projects like this.

no, we already dominate the internet. it's time to go into the real world.

We dominate the very small part of the internet that we are active in. Most of the internet would be somewhat compartmentalized groups that really don't intermingle that much.

There was a survey released just a week or two ago saying that 80% of Americans now use the internet. If we "dominated" that entire 80%, we'd be a lot higher than 5-8% in landline polls right now. We need to get out of our comfort zone, and go into areas that we wouldn't normally go. Using Stumbleupon, perhaps. Be the Johnny Appleseed of liberty.

Hell, I see Huckabee ads all the time on this very site
