I have to give props here where props are due. Every idea at first seems bad (with the exception of the tea party). They seem fringe, wacky, impractical, too costly, but somehow they always catch fire so I need to attribute that to marketing prowess and the power of viral marketing. I know I'm not the only one here who "naysayed" an effort only to be left in an awe of how well it did.

These things weren't his ideas, and were collaborative grassroots efforts.

It was his idea for the money bomb. He managed to use the viral nature of the RP phenomenon to create an organized effort. He took the network that was already there and transformed it into a giant ATM for Ron paul.

Now, he's got a blimp effort and he's already raised 50% of the money he needs. Already at 50%!

The idea for Nov 5th money raiser was not his, but he put the website up.
The idea came form James Sugra.
He still deserves credit of course.
