Americans Deserve Better

I went to the House floor this week to give my colleagues in Congress a wake up call. Americans are fed up with our government and its latest scandals – and they should be. We deserve better than a government spies on us, infringes on our Constitutional rights, and stifles economic growth and innovation. Watch video of my floor speech below.

A recent Washington Post poll found that the majority of Americans think it’s acceptable for the NSA to track our phone records as a means to investigate terrorism. I’m conducting my own survey to hear what you think about this controversial issue. So far, 98% of participants disagree with the Washington Post poll. What about you? Join the conversation here.

No, they don't. Seriously - they really don't.

Americans are getting exactly what they want. Just like the Germans did.

And - just as it did for the Germans - what they deserve is eventually going to catch up with what they wanted ...

If more people wanted better, then more people would be telling their Representatives that Govt needs to stay out of their lives. But that isnt what people want. Hell, if you look at Russia, many people there long for the days when they actually had less freedoms and no ability to get out of the trap. And what happened to them? Populaton Winter.
