Tried to see if he also invited any veterans of Afghan war he escalated, or some of the fathers who lost their sons/daughters becuase of his wars/drones policies but did not have much luck. Don't think he has been ordered to not draw attention to costs of wars but with homeless veterans doubling under his watch, his high profile focus on just sexual identity group issues seems bit disproportionate considering other major issues facing America. Unless David Geffen/hollywood fundraisers are still driving Obama initiatives.

So the dictator meets with some dictakors?

Seriously, though. If Obama would just spend more of his time doing this stuff I'd be a little more relieved. I don't really care who he's pandering to this week as long as his social calendar is full. Anything that keeps him away from "working" is ok to me.

Yawn... who cares. Good for Obama. We get our rights as individuals, or have we forgotten that.

Obama Honors Veterans at Arlington National Cemetery

President Obama honored veterans on Sunday, delivering remarks and laying a wreath at Arlington National Cemetery in observance of the Veterans day holiday.

“On behalf of the American people, I say to you that the memory of your loved ones carries on not just in your hearts, but in ours as well,” he said at the Memorial Amphitheatre. “I assure you that their sacrifice will never be forgotten. For it is in that sacrifice that we see the enduring spirit of America.”

The president referenced his speech at Arlington National Cemetery three years ago, saying he fulfilled several of the promises he made in that address, including bringing an end to the war in Iraq, killing Osama bin Laden and targeting al-Qaida around the world.

“This is the first Veterans Day in a decade in which there are no American troops fighting and dying in Iraq,” Obama said.

Obama also focused on care and support for veterans, including initiatives by his administration to ensure medical benefits and a college education for those who have served.

“That’s what we do in America,” the president said. “We take care of our own. We take care of our veterans. We take care of your families. Not just by saluting you on one day, once a year, but by fighting for you and your families every day, of every year. That's our obligation, a sacred obligation to all of you.”

Before delivering remarks, the president, joined by First Lady Michelle Obama and Vice President Joe Biden, lead a crowd in a moment of silence at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, where he laid a wreath.

Earlier on Sunday, the White House hosted a breakfast for veterans.

How many Dads who have been ripped from their childrens lives due to "family court" did he invite?

There are hundreds of thousands of disenfranchised fathers but this idiot and his handlers push the **** angle...

What a piece of shit!

Perhaps he should invite every father in the country to the Whitehouse? But then what about mothers? Or people who aren't parents? Perhaps a list of everybody who has had something bad in their life at some point gets invited? Since he invited gay parents- maybe I will turn gay now too. Can one do that? If he invited single fathers, would that be a swipe against married fathers? This is silly to get so excited about.

He could have invited plain ol' fathers, but Noooooo!

The idiot pushed an agenda on fathersday.

I happen to think that there are lots of fathers in groups besides ***** that could use free notoriety.

I have zero respect for the prez and even less for his handlers.
